Author's Note:
Hi Readers,
I really apologize for the late update. I said I will update frequently but I have been busy learning scripting (PowerShell and Web Developing scripts) so here is a chapter for you, guys. I hope you will still continue to support this story by voting or commenting. I won't promise to update frequently because I will end up breaking it.
Oh, I dedicate this to HelenaDC. Thank you for your tremendous support. :D
This is still unedited.

Chapter 18: Tumult of Emotions and Revelations
No matter how much time slipped past, some things would never change even if change was a constant thing in every person's life.
Somehow change was something akin to love—there were people who had never forgotten despite how much effort they exerted just to simply forget. It was an emotion that might had gone latent but eventually it would surface again. Love was something you could never take off your system once you had your shot at it. It was like breathing; it was like living; it was feeling. Every emotion that coursed through you be it positive or negative was love.
"Zuri, what do you think you are doing —stirring a scandal. Have you forgotten who you are?" Gabrielle snapped when she saw her friend taking a huge slug off her bottle of Dalmore Constellation whiskey. Below her feet were several empty bottles in disarray.
"Oh! What a great fucking surprise — my perfect friend is here. I presume you are here to save my ass?" Zuri asked with sarcastic bitterness. Her eyes were bloodshot and soulless. She swept her hand around her. "I have already paid for everything including the hospitalization of the bouncer whose nose I have broken. Charges? Nah, I have taken care of it too! There is nothing that an Egloff could not buy so who the hell are you going to save now, Gab?"
Gabrielle eyes narrowed at what she heard — her patience was at the brink but she had to bridle it for the sake of her drunk best friend. "We need to get you out of here before this comes out to the tabloids tomorrow. There are paparazzis outside."
Zuri merely laughed. "I don't give a damn fuck about my reputation so why don't you chill with me instead?" She snapped her fingers and a female waiter hurriedly came to her side. "Give me another glass, sweetheart, and make it quick before I lose my patience."
"It isn't necessary—" Gabrielle said to the female water but Zuri immediately cut her words off.
"You will follow me if you don't want to lose your job, sweetheart." Zuri warned in a sweet yet threatening manner.
"Ah —of course, of course, ma'am!" The female waiter bobbed her head and quickly went out of the VIP room.
"What do you think you are doing?"
Zuri smirked and shrugged her shoulders off. She pressed her thumb on a pager-like thing and, a group of beautiful and sexy women in flimsy dresses marched inside. "Well, be my guest, Gab. Take your pick and enjoy the night — come on don't be prude, I know you're an animal in between the sheets."
Gabrielle clenched her fists in anger and glared at all the people in the room. "At the count of three, I want you all out of this room!"
"The hell do you think you are doing, huh? This is my room therefore only my rules will be followed!" Zuri shouted angrily, her eyes dilated with wrath.
