"I swear I can still hear your father crying from here," Newt said glancing over his shoulder, even though the two were long gone from the Gittins' home.

"Which one?" Tegwen asked with a grin. "They were both quite loud when we were leaving."

"Er...the big one," Newt lifted his hand up high to describe the height and then opened his arms wide to show the width.

"Tad," She nodded her head. "His name is Rhodes, by the way. Rhodes and William."

"Right, I remembered Williams, but I think that was mostly due to the fact that he wasn't overly fond of me," Newt pointed out.

"My dad is like that with everyone," Tegwen reassured him.

"That's reassuring," Newt muttered under his breath. "If you don't mind me asking, how did your fathers meet?"

"They met back in Hogwarts actually. Tad was in Hufflepuff and Dad was in Slytherin. Dad used to play quidditch for the Slytherin team and Tad would come out to the quidditch pitch and serve him warm tea because he always looked so cold."

"That...that is actually very sweet."

Tegwen smiled and nodded her head. "Yes and during their seventh year, Slytherin won the Quidditch Cup, and Dad gave the winning snitch to Tad. He still has it."

"His teammates weren't upset that he gave the winning Snitch away?"

"No, but even if they were, I don't think they were going to tell Dad that, you see how intimidating he can be and he's a lot smaller than Tad."

"Yes, I'll admit I certainly wasn't expecting that upon meeting them."

"That's what a lot of people say, don't worry, you're not the first."

The two were walking through the field a good distance from the Gittins' home, mainly because Tegwen had to make the decision of where they would be traveling first. Although the woman had no idea, she figured the trip would be structured and scheduled by the Ministry, she didn't realize she had all the free range. She could go wherever and research any plant she wanted to. Just thinking about all the plants she could revisit in certain locations made her internally giddy, but she couldn't decide where to go first. Instead, the two just walked along with Pickett talking to Freud about something in Tegwen's bag.

They could hear the little clicking but Newt was itching to talk to Tegwen about something, he just wasn't sure what.

"Have you heard from any of the others in New York?" Newt finally asked after several minutes of silence. He wasn't sure what to bring up to make small talk without discussing any of the creatures in his case or any of the others he had come across recently. He was sure after the events in New York that Tegwen was not up to discussing the fantastic beasts just yet.

"I have," Tegwen nodded. "I've been writing back and forth, mostly with Queenie. Tina's been busy with a MACUSA investigation."

"Already? I would figure everything would have settled down with all that happened," Newt shook his head.

"It has for the most part, but there have been some disappearances," Tegwen explained to him. "A couple of wizards and a witch, they just went missing completely. They think it might be related to some Grindelwald activity, but Tina doesn't think so."

"What does she think it is?"

"She has no idea, but she has a strong feeling," Tegwen shrugged.  "I wasn't going to argue it."

"And Queenie? How is she holding up without...Jacob?"

"Well, I would have liked to say that she's still holding out hope for him and such, but from she told me, she's been out on a couple of dates already," Tegwen said.
