As Tegwen had pointed out before, Newt was the last to fall asleep the night before and the first to awake the next morning. However, it didn't take the man much to wake up as he hadn't really slept through the night. After making the promise to Tegwen to tell her about their confessions in the morning, Newt couldn't bring himself to settle down enough to fall asleep fully. Without Tegwen playing with his hair until he fell asleep, he just laid on the small bed beside her staring into the darkness and listening to the sounds of the creatures moving about and calling out to one another.

Pickett and Tegwen had no troubles sleeping, though, as Pickett nested in the woman's hair, making himself incredibly comfortable. The alcohol in Tegwen's system allowed her to sleep heavily without any interruptions, leaving her to a full night's rest. So when it was finally time to get up, Newt pushed himself up without hesitation and left outside of the case to check on Freud.

The plant had to loosen his vines in order to let the man open up the case and come outside. Freud seemed quite content as he was soaking up the morning rays, dew had collected on his petals and vines until he gave a shake.

At the sound of the case opening, Pickett stirred from Tegwen's hair nest and jumped up, excited to go greet Freud for the morning.  He ended up pulling some of Tegwen's hair, causing the woman to open her eyes as well. The sunlight pouring into the case, caused her to squint her eyes as the most unpleasant sensation hit her head. Her head felt like it was heavier than usual with a dull ache that seemed triggered by the light.

Grabbing the blanket that had been draped over her while she slept, she pulled it over her head to block out the light as she tried to figure out why she was feeling so horrid. She thought back to the events of the day before, reliving Freud and Bargik's battle and how they were given the right's to access the Giant Territory. They had remained in the company of the giants who gave them food and something to drink.

"Oh no," her mind clicked as soon as she thought of the drink. She rubbed at her forehead as she remembered how quickly the drink had hit her system.

Pulling the blanket off of her, she looked around and realized she was alone in the case. There was no sign of Newt, Pickett or Freud, making her wonder if she had made a royal arse out of herself and driven everyone away from her.

Letting out a painful groan as she held the side of her head as she pushed herself up to her feet. However, her legs let out a silent protest as they gave out beneath her, bringing her back down onto the bed.

"Ow," she muttered as she struggled again to stand.

"Twiggy?" She heard Newt call her name from outside of the case. She glanced up only to let out another curse as the light bothered her eyes further. "Leprechaun taint, why is it so bloody bright?"

The sound of Newt's feet traveling down the steps, alerted her to look over to see the man standing before her.

Seeing that Tegwen was having a sensitivity to the light, Newt climbed back up the steps and closed the case to block out the light.

"Oh that's nice," Tegwen said before looking over at him. "Good morning."

"Good morning," Newt said but he wouldn't bring himself to look in her direction as he walked over.

"Um..I just wanted to apologize for whatever I did yesterday while...well, after I stupidly drank that stuff. I should have just left it alone and I'm really sorry if I did anything incredibly embarrassing or rude," she said in a hurried tone.

"Do you remember anything from last night? Or from yesterday at all?" He questioned offering his hand to help her stand up fully.

"Uh..I remember everything up until I drank whatever that stuff was and that's about it," she confessed taking it and standing up finally.  "I'm guessing I did some pretty bad things, didn't I?"
