Tegwen didn't mind the slow form of traveling as they mainly relied on the muggle transportation of the train, it certainly meant having more one and one time with Newt. But as of the recent days, since they had left the Giant Territory, she noticed that Newt was acting rather strange. She knew that the man had his awkward moments and she had no room to judge because she was just as guilty of creating awkward moments as well. However, she was curious as to what was bothering him. Every time she attempted to ask, Newt reassured her that it was nothing or he would apologize.

She wondered if she had done something wrong and Newt was just trying to be polite and not tell her. Maybe he wasn't comfortable with the idea of having a relationship with her anymore, perhaps she had done something to turn him away. But if that were the case, it certainly didn't seem like it as he would hold her hand, sit next to her, or rest his head on her lap so she could play with his hair.

So many thoughts were running through the woman's mind and as much as she wanted to just be straight forward with him, she couldn't bring herself to be so blunt. It was one thing that happened when she was drunk, but she didn't have the same confidence of Drunk Twiggy. She had her moments where a sudden burst of confidence would come about, but she couldn't be like Drunk Twiggy unless she was well....drunk.

During the current train ride, Tegwen had fixed herself a cup of tea in order to keep her mind from going haywire with the million thoughts that were running through it. She continued to stir the liquid around in the mug, watching the steam before turning her gaze outside of the window. She was completely unaware of Newt stealing glances in her direction, especially as she became distracted by Pickett and Freud.

A small fly had entered the compartment at one point and the plant-like creatures were on the prowl to hunt it down. Several times, Pickett had come quite close to capturing the fly but it was quick to escape the grasps of the bowtruckle. Freud decided to whip out his vines whenever the fly approached, trying to hit it as if he was cracking a whip. She couldn't help but laugh at the two as they seemed more than determined to grab the bug.

She would offer them some food, but she knew it wasn't only about eating, it was about the excitement.

"Now what is going to happen when one of you catches it?" She questioned. "Are you going to split it so you can share it?"

Freud and Pickett exchanged looks, obviously, it was not something the two had discussed with each other. They became still before they began going back and forth discussing their plans further. Tegwen let out a laugh as they seemed to be arguing, all the while, the fly had escaped the compartment to live another day.

She was about to make a comment to Newt when she looked up and caught him staring at her. It appeared that he had a question on his mind to ask but was hesitating to do so. As soon as they made eye contact, he looked away first. He was getting better about the eye contact but if he was feeling nervous about something, it didn't last long at all.

"Are you alright?" She asked him. Tegwen felt as though she had asked the man that question far too much over the last couple of days, but she was concerned.

He gave a nod before lifting his head up again.

"Did you date anyone in Hogwarts?" He suddenly asked her.

Luckily for the two of them, Tegwen decided against a sip of her tea before he had asked her the question. Or it would have ended her with her spitting it out and spraying everyone in the compartment. Instead, she nearly dropped the mug from her hands but quickly held onto it with a firm grip. Instantly she had become flustered as her cheeks turned red.
