Tegwen led the way for the majority of the trip after they left the Giant Territory. The giants seemed all too glad to get rid of the humans, especially the gurg, Bargik, who was still trying to get over the humiliation of being defeated by a plant. However, as everyone had come to find out, Freud wasn't just an average, everyday houseplant. Tegwen tried to offer some comfort towards the gurg, but he only growled in her direction. In doing so, he ended up making Freud upset and the flower opened his mouth to reveal the rows and rows of teeth, threatening to just shoot them in the direction of the giant once more. The large being cowered in fear before Tegwen called the plant off and the group decided to leave before matters became worse.

"I suppose Tad and Dad will be glad to hear that you've become quite the bodyguard, Freud," She said as she walked along side of Newt. The two adults looked down to where Freud was hanging out of the woman's bag, along with Pickett, the two of them enjoying the sun.

"Yes, because I'm pretty sure they didn't think that I was capable of protecting you," Newt pointed out bringing her to look over at him.

"Nonsense, it's just the more protection I can get, they'll take it. I've put them through plenty of heart attacks over the years with my work. And here I thought going into the Herbology field wouldn't be so dangerous. I guess I was wrong," she said with a shrug but a smile playing across her lips.

"So...what other dangers have you gotten yourself into over the years, Ms. Gittins?" He questioned curiously. "You told me about your eye last night...."

"I did?" She seemed surprised. "Oh...well...that was one of the big ones. There was the time when we traveled to Africa. It was beautiful, except for the part where I ended up tripping and falling into a very large ant hill."

"An ant hill?"

"They were fire ants, my entire body was covered in their bites and it was just my luck that I was allergic to them. My face was all swollen, including my throat...I had all these scabs...it was terribly messy."

"How do you manage these things?" Newt said trying not to laugh as Tegwen made a face.

"I don't know. At one point, we were up in Uganda, I ended up making a male gorilla very upset because I sneezed. I think he took it as me challenging him..."

"You tend to find yourself getting in a lot of trouble, don't you?"

"I can't help it," Tegwen laughed. "I've tried so hard over the years to just keep to myself, get my work done and it never seems to work out that way. Something usually if not always, happens. Whether it's for better or for worse."

"What would consider your experience in New York to be? For better or for worse?"

"Well, at the time, I was certain that it was going to be the worst. I mean, they brought us to the Death Cell, Newt. You don't get any closer to a promised death than that. But, it turned out to be for the better. As much as I was dreading being dragged along in the beginning, had it not been for Tina dragging me away from my lunch...we wouldn't be here, would we?"

"No, I suppose you're right, " he said with a smile. "Although, I do wish Tina would have let you eat something before all the events, you were rather cranky when we met up again."

"What were you expecting? For me to run into your arms and hug you? "

"I would say yes, but that would be pushing it," Newt answered as he took her hand in his. "I have a question, though, since we're on the topic of your fathers earlier."

Tegwen looked over at him as she had been focused on their hands for a moment. Newt's hands were so incredibly warm, she could feel her entire body warm up just from a simple holding of hands. Of course, she craved the warmth very much like her father, so it seemed to be a very good fitting that Newt was naturally so warm.
