'Well...doesn't that sound like fun.' I said sarcastically.
Ruby walked over to Dexter, her hand trailing over my shoulder onto his. I heard her crouch down to his level, and he sucked in a sharp breath.
'What happened to you, Ruby?' He whispered.
'It's not Ruby, Dexter.' I said.
'Ssh.' She told me. 'No, I'm not Ruby...kinda.' She said to him. 'But she's still in me, Dexter. And she misses you. Do you miss her?'
'I swear to God, if you hurt my brother...' I warned.
'I do.' Dexter whispered. 'What the hell have you done to my girl?' He suddenly yelled.
'Yelling's not very nice.' Gloria said, standing. 'Neither is swearing.' She walked back to face me, and Dexter sighed, his head lolling back and hitting mine.
'Are you OK Dex?'
'Yeah.' He sighed.
'And you should be nice to me. People who aren't nice to me don't get to play anymore.' She shook her head, sending blonde hair flying.
I swallowed. 'What do you mean?'
'I've been playing with YOU Trixie-'
'Don't call me that.'
'For a long time now. And I played with your mum a little while ago.' She smiled, and as she blinked her eyes went blue again.
'Where is my mum?'
'Our mum.' Dexter corrected.
'Oh...she's dead.' Gloria giggled.
'You're lying.' I whispered, then shouted, 'You're lying! You better be, or I'll burn you!' I pulled against the ropes, feeling them cut deeper into my wrists, but I didn't care. 'I'll kill you if you touch my mother! I'll destroy you if you killed her you little bitch!'
'I don't like swearing, Trixie.' Gloria shook her head again.
'I'm going to kill you.' I spat. 'I can promise you that.'
She sighed. 'I don't feel like playing with you when you're in this mood, Bellatrix.'
She started to trail back to the bar door. 'Work them over.' She snapped, and three vampires stepped out, let her pass and shut the door almost silently.
'Oh good Lord here we go.' I muttered, shaking my head.
They smiled, fangs sliding out over their eyeteeth.
'Where's Ever?' I asked. Might as well talk while I still could.
'Our reformed sister is a little...tied up at the moment.' They were all guys, and the biggest one at the front spoke. I recognised the back two- Carl, who was tall and thin with long blonde hair, and Mark, who was shorter with blue eyes and red hair.
'You kinky bastards. There's no dead man's blood in there, is there?' I asked, smiling slightly.
'You won't be smiling once we're done with you.' Mark said, cracking his knuckles as both Carl and the other vamp revealed long, jagged knives.
'This is going to hurt.' I winced.
'Understatement of the year.' Mark laughed darkly.
