"So your mom owns a bakery?", Sky asked as they continued walking.

"Yeah, she opened it when I was 11 and I've helped her out since." Ray said.

"Nice", Sky replied. "Does your mom let you have something sweet when you did a good job.", she said with a chuckle.

"Nah, usually after i'm done she let's me go out and do whatever, so I guess that's what I got for doing a good job which i'm fine with." Ray said, she took out her scroll to check the time, then she put it back in her pocket.

"We should probably head back so we won't be late for that speech." Sky also took her scroll out and agreed with Ray. "Your right. Let's go.", she said as her and ray started walking.

"I hope we'll make it in time." Ray said.

Ash nervously made her way into the building crowded my students and found a corner near the front, ignoring the guys who were obviously trying to hit on her.

'Just remember,' she thought 'this is to prove myself to mom. I can be useful.' Her mom had always given her the best teachers and trainers and martial artists money can buy. Sure, she hadn't given her the best life, but tough love, right? So, Ash slowly looked up with determination as the assembly began.

As the speech began, Ash looked around the area, only partially listening. What had she missed out so much on when she was stuck in that stupid house her whole life?

When Sky was close enough to the door where the assembly was being held at, she could hear someone talking. Meaning it was starting.

"Shoot. Come on Ray.", she said as she grabbed the faunus arm and ran into the building.

When they ran into the building it seemed like the speech just started, so they probably didn't miss much. Ray pulled sky over to the wall next to the door and listened to the speech.

Ash saw the two girls from before walk in and she felt bad suddenly, but still confused. Why was a human talking to a Faunus? Aren't they supposed to be bad people?

After Ray pulled Sky to the door she started to listen the speech. But after a couple of minutes she got bored. "Blah blah. Can this be over soon?", she mumbled.

"Shh, don't make me laugh." Ray whispered, with a smile as she silently chuckled. "But I know right."

Ash kept staring intently at the two, without even realising. She immediately began to wonder more, as her mind sucked her into an abyss of questions. How are they friends?
