Sky walked back to Steel to see if she can clear things up. "Hey Steel.", she said.
"Hey." He said with a forced smile, doing a decent job at not worrying too much. "What's up with her?" He asked, motioning toward Ash.
"Oh um Ash is just feeling stressed out that's all. It had nothing to do with you I promise.", Sky said hoping Steel wouldn't take things the wrong way.
"Alright" he said with a small smile "I get it. I know how it can be."
"I'm sure if you just just give her time then she'll open up to you. I can see you two becoming great friends.", Sky said with a warm smile. "Maybe we can all be friends one day."
Meanwhile, Ash gave out a small laugh at her friends 'Deer caught in headlights look' "You okay?" She asked.
"Huh? Oh, uh, yeah. Just remembered we left steel back there probably confused. Now I know why sky stayed behind." Ray said.
Ash immediately froze and turned around, steel was glancing at her. She gave him a small apologetic smile, mouthed sorry, and gave a small wave before walking away with ray.
"Yeah," he said with a smirk "Why not?". Rose ran over suddenly, whispering something in his ear and running away "Hey, we gotta go on a mission apparently. We get this a lot, last minute things." He said with a sigh, "Later."
"Later", Sky said as she watched Steel go with his team. 'How does his team get so many missions?', she thought to herself.
The light blonde quickly ran to the place where her friends were at an spotted them. "Sorry I remind you of that." Ray said, as she walked with ash, feeling bad she reminded ash about the whole thing with steel.
Ash smiled slightly at Ray "Nah, don't worry about it." She said as they arrived at the table giving out the books.
Ray smiled slightly back at ash, "okay." She said, and realized they were already at the table giving out the books.
Ash grabbed her books once she found them, and watched as Ray grabbed hers. "Do you wanna grab Sky's for her, or no?" She asked.
"Um, yeah. I'll grab sky's books." She picked up sky's books once she found them and placed them in top of her books. "Ready?" She asked, as she looked at ash.
Sky ran towards Ash and Ray just as they gathered their books. "Hey guys sorry it took so long.", she said. She noticed that they also grabbed her books as well. "Oh you guys didn't have to get mine.", she said feeling bad that they did.
"Stop being all mushy and take your books" She said with a slight laugh "Mine alone are heavy enough. What do they put in these, bricks?"
"Hey, i'm the one carrying double the books here." Ray said, with a small laugh. "Here, take your books please before my arms fall off." She smiled.
Sky laughed a little. "Alright alright.", she said as she grabbed her books from Ray. "Thanks."
"Now that we've got our books and all, we should probably go to the temporary room. Before our arms fall off." She said with a smile. "Sound good?"
"Sounds good to me, The quicker we can put these bricks down the better." Ray said, and smiled.
"I second that.", Sky said with a laugh. "Seriously they make these things way too heavy."
"Alright." Ash said with a laugh as she began to walk.
