Once Ray had arrived at her house she walked into the back door and threw her bag on s chair.
"Mom, i'm home" she yelled. "Ray, could you give me a hand over here." Her mother yelled from the bakery. "Sure." Ray washed her hands before walking into the bakery and saw that it was pretty busy so she helped her mom out with the customers.
MEANWHILE
A young man with brown hair wearing a t-shirt with a leather jacket and jeans with boots (photo above) was talking on his scroll."Yeah Uncle, I'm at the bakery right now." Storm said as he was talking to his uncle on the scroll. He was outside a small bakery that was in the city picking up some things for his uncle and little sister.
"Yes of course I know what to get Sky. I grew up with her remember." he said sarcastically with a small chuckle.
"And remember don't let her know I'm here, it's a surprise." Whenever he has time off from school he usually spends it with his sister and uncle ever since he left for Beacon. This time was gonna be a surprise since his sister thought he was staying with his teammates.
"Aright, you too. Bye." the young man said as he got off his scroll. He heard the sound of a bell as he entered the shop. Storm was looking around until he found the pastry he was looking for.
"Excuse me?" he said politely to a wolf Faunus girl behind the counter. "Could I please get two cinnamon rolls."
As Ray began to grab what Storm asked for, he wanted to strike up a conversation with her.
"So nice day isn't it? Must of been a blast at school?" Ray just gave a simple nod and a small smiled as she continued to do her work. Storm just stood their kinda of awkwardly not knowing what to say.
"You go to Signal?" he asked trying to keep a conversation going along, Ray simply nodded again.
"My sister goes there as well. She keeps telling me how much fun she has there learning more and more about becoming a huntress. Is that how you feel?" Once Ray got the pasties on the counter she finally decided to make eye contact and speak.
"I mean I guess." she said quietly while putting her head down. Storm smiled at her a little.
"You know my sister used to be like you. All shy and quiet. It took her a whole lot to break out of shell with a little convincing.", he said.
Ray looked up at him and sighed. "I honestly don't think I'll be able to break out of mine. No matter how hard I try." she said.
"Well maybe you just need to find the right people to help you. If it's any constellation I think my sister and you would be best friends if you would get to know each other." he said with a warm smile as he paid for the cinnamon rolls. "Keep the change." he said as he grabbed his bag and headed out the door
