Sky silently chuckled for a bit and stopped. Her eyes started to look around the room as the speech kept going and saw the girl from earlier staring at her and Ray.
'Why is she staring at us', she thought. Maybe she just felt bad or something. Either way Sky didn't mind. She gave the girl a smile and waved her.
Ray looked over in the direction sky was looking and saw the girl from earlier. 'It's that girl from earlier that ran away after she walked into me, why is she staring at us?' She thought. She gave the girl a small but warm smile and waved as well.
When ash noticed that the two were waving at her she noticed she was staring and immediately turned her back to them in embarrassment. Sky noticed how quickly the girl turned her back to them.
'What's her deal?', she thought. That girl was definitional confusing her. Why is she staring at her and Ray? What did she want? Sky turned to Ray and shrugged her shoulders since she didn't know what was up with that girl.
"Hm." Ray mumble, as she watched the girl turn her back to them. She knew why the girl was being weird around them, or at least thought she knew why.
Ash could practically feel the frowns of the girls behind her, and to be honest, she felt bad once again for turning her back on them when they were being so nice. She's just never been good with people (given she wasn't allowed to have friends), especially faunus.
As the speech dragged on, so did Sky's boredom. "Ugh can this please be over soon.", she mumbled.
"Don't worry, i'm sure it'll be over soon. At least, I hope it'll be over soon." Ray whispered, starting to get a bit bored. While every one else seemed bored, Ash wasn't and began to listen intensely.
"Be sure that when you look around this room you are aware that anybody here could be a partner of yours. Never doubt that in the end kindness goes a long way here. Except in battle. Good day students." The professor finished, and clapping began to erupt through the room.
When the speech was over and claps were being heard. Sky clapped as well even though she wasn't listening that much. "Finally it's over.", she said.
Ray clapped as well, she was listening here and there but not really that much. "Glad it's over." She said.
As people began to filter out, Ash looked back at the girls to find one of them looking at her. She awkwardly smiled and looked back at the ground, stood in place, wringing her hands.
Sky kept looking at girl. She noticed the quick smile before the girl looked down at the ground. Based on the girl's actions, Sky could to tell that she was nervous. If there was anything Sky could understand the most with the girl is that. 'Maybe she just needs help breaking out of her shell', she thought.
Sky turned to Ray and said, "Hey Ray, I'll be right back." "Alright." Ray said.
