Sky took a step back with her hands up in a surrender. She knew asking her was a stupid idea. If they would switch places Sky would react the same way.
"Alright I'm sorry.", she said softly and quietly. "I shouldn't have asked."
Ray sighed and leaned against a wall, "No, I should be saying sorry. I shouldn't have snapped at you like that. So, i'm sorry at snapped at you." She said.
Sky put a hand on Ray's shoulder. "Hey it's okay. If anything I would react the same. You have a right to be angry.", she said.
If being friends with Faunus has taught her anything is that they're always made fun of about what they are.
"I just really hate that people think all Faunus are criminals just because a couple of Faunus were on the news because they did a couple of bad things, it just puts a bad name for Faunus and all we want it to be treated equal with the humans." Ray said.
"Ray, it's okay. I've been friends with a lot of Faunus and I wish the same for them just like I wish for you.", Sky said.
It's true. When Sky was growing up most her friends were Faunus. As they were being bullied Sky wished nothing more than for people to treat Faunus equally.
"If it makes you feel any better I don't think your any of those things." A very small side smile came across rays face as she looked at her friend.
"Thanks, sky. It does make me feel a bit better." She said.
Sky smiled warmly and gave Ray a playful punch on her arm. "Hey you wanna keep walking around?", she asked. Maybe walking around would get her mind off the whole thing.
"Yeah, I guess. Might help me get my mind off the whole thing." Ray said, and took a step away from the wall she was leaning on.
