Chapter 27

The group of girls began their walk to the ballroom, and were soon enough at its open door. Seeing all the people made Ash kinda nervous but she went in anyway.

Ray followed behind as, looking at the the people she wasn't paying much attention to where she was going and accidentally walked into someone. They both stumbled back, making Ray drop her books.

The person she walked into caught themselves but saw that Ray was about to fall back and caught her before she fell. The person she walked into was a boy, he was a wolf Faunus too, they stared at each other for a moment before Ray finally said something. "Um... S-sorry." "It's okay."

Sky was right behind Ash. She turned to ask Ray something but saw that she was in the arms of a wolf Faunus boy. She had a smirk on her face an said, "I ship it."

Ash laughed at Sky's comment and said "Agreed." Then looked at Ray and said "Hey, are you guys alright?"

"Uh, yeah." Ray said, and started picking up her books.

"Oh uh Here, let me help you." The boy said, and helped her pick up her books. He grabbed the last one and hands it to her.

"Thank you, uh...." "Eton." He smiled.

"I'm Ray." She smiled back. "Oh and these two are my friends, ash and sky." She pointed to her two friends.

"It's nice to meet you all." He said.

"Nice to meet you too Eton.", Sky said kindly. "Welcome to our circle of horrors.", she said jokingly. The dark blonde looked a Ray that says, 'Sparks are flying'

"Sup." Ash said with a smirk, before getting closer and poking a finger at him

"You seem chill but if you get too close to Ray I won't hesitate to break you." After a few seconds of glaring she smiled again and backed up to where Sky was.

Ray glared at ash 'really?!' She mouthed, then looked back at Eton, who had a kinda scared look on his face. "Heh, don't worry, she won't brake you." Ray said.

"Uh, Okay." Eton said.

"Well I might.", Sky said with her hand raise. "Seriously, hurt her and you'll die."

"I'm not joking." Ash said with a threatening laugh before getting dead serious again and glaring "I will break you."

"Guys!" Ray yelled.

"Heh, you guys must be really great friends. Don't worry, I promise I would never hurt Ray." Eton said.

Sky then relaxed a little. "Welp then you're okay with me.", she said smiling at her newest friend. So Eton, where are you from?"

Ash was still glaring a little, but she wasn't saying anything. She was barely acquainted with one faunus and now there was another. She knows their not all bad but years of 'training' told her otherwise.

"I'm from Mistral." Eton said, he noticed ash was still glaring a little and wondered why. "Um, where are you all from?" He asked.

"I'm from vale." Ray said.

Sky elbowed Ash to the arm to making her stop glaring at Eton. "Um, I'm from Vale as well.", she said.

"Atlas." Came Ash's short reply. Ash barely even felt the nudge from Sky and continued her glare. He seemed nice, but she still wasn't sure.

Ray looked over at ash and noticed she was still glaring at Eton. "Um, well it's getting late we should probably go to sleep. It was really nice meeting you Eton." She said.

Sky gave Ash a small of her own glare at  to tell her to stop. But the glare quickly disappeared when she looked back at Eton. "Yeah. Hey don't be a stranger to us.", she said.

"I think Ray is right. It's getting late. See ya." Ash said with a fake smile and walked away quickly to set up her bed, leaving the others behind.

"It was nice meeting you all." Eton said, as he waved and walked away from them.

"You too" Ray said, and started to walk over to one of the sleeping bags but waited for sky.

Sky went over to Eton and punched his arm playfully. "See you around.", she said as she caught up with Ray towards the sleeping bags.
