Everyone stared at me with their mouths either covered with their hands or dropped to the floor. Everyone was quiet, until this boy, who in gonna admit is really cute, walked around to Mark then looked at me.
"I'm sorry, but did you just ask who I am?" He asked.
"Well, if I heard myself correctly I think I did." I responded.
"Roe,I'm Ryan." He said, expecting me to recall him, I honestly just met this kid and now I'm wishing I hadn't.
"Hello, nice to meet you but I should get going, it's starting to get late...and I'm totally creeped out now so bye." I said as I then ran to the elevator to leave the robotic contraption.
I started going home, but as I was doing so a football came and hit me in the head. I fell to the ground closing my eyes. I then heard the patter of sneaker run over to me.
"Oh no, please don't tell me you're dead. I am so sorry." A soft angelic voice said above me.
I opened my eyes to see a girl with dark brown hair with eyes to match, light brown freckles danced upon her cheeks and nose. She stood up straight and extended her hand out in front of me to take ahold of.
I reached out and grasped her hand, she pulled me to my feet and I dusted the dirt from my pants.
"Sorry about that, I'm Sparrow." She said grabbing my hand and shaking it vigorously.
"Rochelle." I said, my whole body quivering from her shaking my hand so hard.
"Would you like to hang out sometime?" She asked with a smile.
"Yeah,sure."
"Great, let's go!" She yelled as she dragged me in any direction she please I guess. The wind started blowing through my hair, blowing strands in front of my eyes. I squinted my eyes, my eyelashes made everything blurry but from what I could picture I saw someone. Not just any someone, that boy.
I saw the same boy that I saw across the street that day. He looked at me once more, he was beautiful; he made my heart race a little and my palms sweat, that's was bad considering someone was holding them. I was right because soon my hand slipped and the force from the constant movement mixed with inertia caused me to fall on my face. I rolled over so that I was laying on my back and then looked to my left to where I was the boy. He was gone; he had disappeared like he had done once before. Is it fate that we encounter within our deepest mindsets and never speak to one another? He could hold something great for my future, but I am here in antagonizing pain, actually, I think my nose is bleeding.
I lifted my hand to my nose and then pulled it in front of me to look at it. I saw blood on my finger tips.
"Sorry, sorry. I hurt you again, didn't I?" She asked feeling guilt.
"Oh, of course not, blood gushes out my face on the daily." I said sarcastically, pinching my nose and pulling a face at her.
"I should probably take you home now." She says putting her hand between my shoulder blades.
When we got to my house Gloria's heart almost stopped.
"Oh my god, Rochelle, were you fighting again?" She asked.
