Shedding.
Everything sheds in one way or another.
Air: People take in oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide.
Trees: The leaves fall every season.
Humans: we are constantly shedding; eyelashes, skin, and hair....
"Do you think I'm going bald?"
"Roe, you have too much hair to go bald and you're only 14."
Maybe Mark is only being nice, but I can't help but look at myself in this mirror and see that hair is only a thing of expression, but it's constantly leaving.
"I enjoy my hair," I started bluntly as I looked at my friends in the reflection of the handheld mirror,"but it falls out too much."
"You're overreacting; you're a Webster, little sister, and we all have great hair." Marissa said to me as she flipped through a magazine.
Just then Ryan entered the X-deck of Mech-X4 where we were all hanging out,"Hey, guys." He greeted us.
He walked over to me and sat next to me where I sat on the couch and pulled me closer to him. I looked at his hair, he has pretty hair. It was short, curly, and brown. The only way a Ryan Walker's hair should be.
He pulled his phone out and began to type away as he just messed with a few of his apps and games. I examined him, I know that he was looking at me from the corner of his eye, but I still stared at him.
My eyes drifted to his shoulder,"Hair." I said abruptly as I took a strand of long, curly, black hair off of my boyfriend's shoulder.
I held it up in the air to see whose it was,"Hm, it's yours." He said as if it was no big idea, and maybe it wasn't compared to the other crazy things in my life. But who the hell cares.
"Would you still love me if I was 50 and bald?" I asked Ryan in a saddened voice.
"What?" He laughed, I just rolled my eyes and hit his shoulder lightly.
"It's not funny, now answer the question: would you still love me if I was bald by 50?" Why is he always playing games, dang?
"Duh, I'm not as shallow as Mark." He said as he rolled his eyes.
"I'm right here." Mark said offended.
"We know." Harriet said from her place, typing up things on her tablet. She's been really angry at Veracity for the whole Harper Futuristics thing and she plots things when she's angry.
"We just don't care, actually no one was talking to you." Sparrow said with the upmost attitude a Sparrow could give. Sparrow is mad too, there's trouble in the land of Spyrrow.
"Mari, are you just gonna let them talk me like that?" Mark asked my sister who had her eyes glued on her phone screen, but all she did was raise her eyebrow at him.
"Maybe you need to be talked like that so you won't be type disrespectful to the people who really care about you." She said in a monotone.
"Ryan." Mark said as if he was going to do something.
"Don't call my boyfriend to help you, actually, ain't nobody worried about you." I told him as I screwed my face up.
"Are you girls okay?" Harris asked trying to be delicate.
"Don't worry about it." Harriet said to him as she rolled her eyes.
"Sparrow, why are you mad, is it because I got melted cheese all over your desk?" Spyder asked.
