"What is this thing?" I yelled through the head set. We were currently fighting a monster, it looked like a cross between a cat and and an eagle, bro this ish is scary.
"I have no idea, but we need to stop it fast." Ryan grunted. My side is killing me, and I feel like it's bleeding. It probably is but that's not the priority.
Out of no where Ryan was gonna slice the monster, but it exploded; like on its own. The explosion blew us both back, and I had hit my head on the cold floor, my friends and sister going to my side. I was disoriented and confused, but I did see Mech-X4 fall on the hard ground; that ground then turned into a sink hole.
"Ryan!" I started looking for them, digging vigorously, my hands hurting and burning with a couple of my nails breaking.
I finally saw the hand of the robot, pulling him up and out before we both fell and I went unconscious.
I started hearing the beeps and such of a machine. I felt something warm and comforting in my hand, I've felt it before.
I opened my eyes sitting up and looking at my surroundings before a shooting pain went up my side. My side has never stopped hurting but some days are better than others.
I liked to my right and Ryan's hand was clasped to mine. I smiled at the comfort it gave me, usually I'd been freaked out. He was hooked up to wires and things, that's when I got sick to my stomach.
I couldn't stand this,"Harris! Harriet!" I called out for them. They both came rushing into the room.
"Roe, you're awake!" Harriet came to hug me as Harris went to check both of our, Ryan and I's, vitals.
"Can you guys take out my I.V., please, I just-" I fell silent.
I bowed my head as I felt them take the tube out of my arm. My hair covered my face and I stared into my lap. I listened to them leave and then say on the edge of the table, watching my feet dangle, my toes hitting the floor.
I slowly followed the arm to my boyfriend as I looked at him, pushing my hair behind my ears, my curls' bounce not quite the same. A tear hit our intertwined hands; it was mine. This is how special Ryan is to me, the last time I cried was when my first foster family left me at the age of 4. Now I never cry, well, up until now.
"Oh Ryan, please be okay, I need you, I love you." My sobs started become louder and harder, my body started shaking and I laid my head on his chest.
I sniffled... I let go of his had, the feeling painful as I grabbed my unelected from the corner of the room," I'm gonna sing a song for you, baby boy, I know how much you like my songs."
(I decided on Everything Stays from adventure time just cause I felt like it."
Let's go in the garden...
You'll find something waiting...
Right there where you left it, lying upside down.
When you finally find it, you'll see how it's faded,
The underside is lighter, when you turn it around.
Everything stays, right where you left it,
Everything stays, but it still changes.
Ever so slightly, daily and nightly, everything stays; in little ways...
My body shook with sobs and cries. I leaned over and kissed his cheek, grabbing his hand and squeezing it, trying to find comfort.
