The day went by pretty quickly I must say. Quite some stuff was sold too. Around two and four o’clock it’s usually the busiest here. And as always there were the annoying people, the so called “jerks”, that's what my parents call them. But I still like this job either way. I also got a message that Nina would be coming here within ten minutes.

As I am getting ready to close the shop, someone walks in. I guess I have to wait five more minutes. The guy walks right up to me. Black hair with green eyes….. His facial features somehow looks a bit familiar.

“Wait, are you by any chance Louis Tomlinson?” he asks me. “Yes, that is me.” I say surprised and confused at the same time. “I knew it! You look a lot like him. I’m Arran Mivestone. Ring any bells?” he says, looking at me with a smile.

Arran Mivestone…..

“Arran Mivestone! Hey, how’ve you been, it’s been so long already!” I say to him realizing who he is. He is the son of my new neighbor that came one year before I moved to my apartment. He and I used to hang out a lot together.

“Great man! I just wanted to know how my close neighbor was doing! Your parents told me you worked at their shop and gave me the address.” Arran says. We talked for a bit until he said he had to go, having to deliver the last pizzas of the day.

“We should hang out together some time. Here’s my number, call me when you have time to catch up somewhere.” he says and then walks out of the shop.

I take off my apron and put it in the back room and grab the spare keys my parents gave me of the shop. I close the door and walk towards the exit. I turn the sign to “closed” and lock the door when I’m outside. Walking to my car I lean against it to wait for Nina. While doing that I put Arran’s number in my contacts. I will definitely call him to catch up sometime.

While waiting I hear a loud voice coming from a distance. I could already tell who it was without even looking. When I look up I could see Nina in the distance waving excitingly with her arms in the air. I instantly feel better now that she is around.

When she is coming closer she starts running towards me. Already knowing what’s going to happen I put my arms open. Seconds later with full force Nina crashes into me almost tripping the both of us over. “Well, hello Nins, looking as bright as ever I see.” I mumble just loud enough for her to hear. We just stand in a hug position for what felt like minutes. Something you need to know about her is that she just loves to hug.

When she finally lets go she looks up to me and pinches my cheeks. “How’ve you been Tommy? It’s been quite boring lately. But let’s first go to Subway and then you can tell me all about your new job. Alright let’s go then I’m starving by the way.” she says and then walks towards the passenger’s seat of my car.

Getting inside I turn the engine on and we drive off to the nearest Subway. Nina is a Korean girl with black hair reaching her shoulders which is almost always put up in a bun. She wears glasses and her favorite color is red, that’s also my favorite color. Nobody except her knows that though.

When we arrive at Subway we practically run inside. Some people stare at us but we pay no mind to them. “You go get a table while I take the orders.” I say to her. She nods and runs off to somewhere in the back. I’ll find her later.

Standing in line which is luckily not that long I order two tuna sandwiches, the 30 centimeters and two large vanilla milkshakes. I know what you’re thinking but we only do this once in a while. Nina and I always use the excuse that life is too short, so better eat all you can. After paying I make my way towards the back trying to find her. When I find her I sit down and unfold the paper from the sandwich.
