Chapter 15

If I have to describe it in one word I would say lively. Even though it is late already and pretty dark too, that doesn’t matter for this place. It really stands out with its super bright lights.

At the entrance we had to pay, I heavily opposed to Arran paying for me. However while arguing, he already shove the money to the lady behind the counter.

I stay a bit mad at Arran for that. “Oh, come on Louis. I asked to take you out for a dinner to catch up, It’s only natural that I treat you.” Arran says and I let him win. “Fine, you obviously know this place better than me, so lead me the way the best foods they have.” I say to him and his face lights up with excitement. “You got it, I’ll show you my favorite food place here. You won’t know what you are seeing, it’s basically paradise.” he says excitingly.

I hope he isn’t exaggerating and going to show me food which will look really disgusting. But I can shake those thoughts right out of the window as he shows me his favorite food place. He was not just exaggerating. Oh no, I now definitely know what he means with paradise. In front of me is a huge table with like twenty-five different pizzas on it! I practically stare at it with my mouth wide open.

“What are doing? Don’t just stand there, eat!” Arran screams. He runs like a nine year old child towards the table, stacking his plate full of slices of pizza on top of each other. It doesn’t take long for me to do the same.

After a while both me and Arran have tasted all the different pizzas except for one though. “What do you think is on this one.” I ask him, looking at the pizza slice in my hand. “I don’t know, I only see bits of red and green on it, maybe bell pepper?” he says, not quite sure himself. “Well, there is only one way to find out right?” To the count of three we both take a few bites of the pizza.

However we both soon after are running towards the bar. “Yo!! Give me something to drink! Water, beer, hell even vodka will do, I just need something cold to drink!! My mouth is on fire here!!” Arran screams at one of the people behind the counter.

Eating that last slice wasn’t good, what was on it was real pepper. And practically both Arran and my mouth are really on fire. I can already feel a headache coming up.

The woman behind the counter is trying to suppress a laugh and quickly gets two big bottles of cold water. Me and Arran literally snatch the water from her hand and we are both drinking like a thirsty elephant now. After drinking like half a bottle, the burning sensation in our mouths starts to die down.

“Oh my god, last time I was here they definitely did not have that pizza.” Arran says and faces me.

“Do you still want to eat something?” he asks me. “No, I’m totally full after eating all those pizzas.” I say honestly, it’s a surprise that I managed to keep all my food inside, especially after that last one. I can’t really eat too spicy stuff, my head probably looks like a tomato too.

“Well, let’s call it a night then, shall we?” Arran says with a smile. I nod and we make our way to his car. When we are seated I look out of the window and I see those familiar green eyes from before, belonging to the silhouette from before too. Without thinking, I open the door and run towards it. Getting closer I could make out that it was definitely not a human. It was more like a giant black wolf with jade green eyes, just looking at me. For some reason I can’t look away from it. Everything around me somehow fades away and it is just me and the wolf.

I hear Arran calling my name and then the wolf runs away with incredible speed, leaving me stunned. After I recover myself I make my way back to Arran’s car.

“Louis, you ok? What were you doing, suddenly getting out of the car and running all the way there.?” he asks me, obviously confused about my action. Shit, what should I say? “I saw something flashing near those trees but it was nothing.” Seriously Louis? With anything you can come up with this is what you say? I really want to smack myself right now.

“Okay, if you say so.” Arran says, obviously not buying my lie at all. I get him though, if Nina did something like this then I would of course not believe her too. I wonder when she will call me to take her out to dinner. She won the milkshake competition after all.

We then left the parking lot and Arran drives me to my house, me giving directions of course.

“Well, I had a lot of fun tonight. We should definitely do this again sometime.” I say when Arran parks at the parking lot at my apartment. “You bet Louis. Next time you should bring that friend of yours too, the one who was glaring at me.” Arran says with a smirk on his face. I stare at him with wide eyes. He wants Harry to come too?! Is he feeling well or does this have to do with eating that last pizza?

But before I could ask him why he wanted Harry to come, he interrupted me. “It’s really late already, you should sleep, it’s like two am now. Besides, tomorrow afternoon I’m gonna take my girlfriend on a date, so I better be looking good then. Goodnight Louis.” Arran says to me.

I also say my goodnight to him and get out of his car. When he is gone I make my way towards my apartment. Quickly taking a shower and changing into my pajamas, I lay on my bed.

Currently I’m thinking about the wolf I saw. The silhouette matched it from the other night. So do those eyes that I saw at the bus station and during the bus ride. What shocks me a lot is that the wolf was just standing there. It was just watching me. However what shocks me more, is that I didn’t feel really scared. That is something I should definitely be.

At that thought I shiver a bit. Think about it, a wolf watching you. What kind of made that thought real was that it was staring at me and nothing else. I don’t know why but when I think about those eyes, I immediately have to think about Harry. Ah, this really is a lot to take in. It’s not every day that you see a giant black wolf with green eyes, looking at you.

Hello angels!!!

Here you go, an update!

Monday is a holiday so i have more time to write the next chapter but i cant say that i can update earlier.

Christmas holiday also ended last sunday.😯
Kind of sad since i was so busy with moving houses that i didn't have a lot of time for myself.
But i like going to school and see everyone again.

I want to try to get this story finished asap but im not that quick with updates.😅
I have my other story to finish "Unexpected changes".
And i also have an idea for another story.
Ugh so much i want to do, so ill beter get going with the next chapter for this one.
