Chapter 28

While Harry is running, I just close my eyes. It basically just feels like you are in a car, you barely feel any movement at all.

After a little while he makes a little howl and I look up. When he lays on the ground, I get off him and take in my surroundings.

This place is just gorgeous. A small clear river flows silently in front of us. On the other side, a huge piece of land is in bloom with numerous flowers, colors ranging from red to blue while they all sway along with the soft breeze.

What really catches my attention are the two apple trees right in the middle of the place there. It looks lonely but somehow also not since it looks like they have each other.

I look over at Harry but he's already staring at me. "This place is beautiful." I say to him and turn to look at the trees.

Harry walks forward and into the sparkly river. He looks back at me and nods, signaling me to follow him. I pull up my trousers a bit and walk into the mildly cold river over to the other side.

Harry lays underneath the trees and closes his eyes. For a moment I just dumbly and awkwardly stand there. Feeling a bit curatious, I walk to him and lay my head on it's fur. I really love his fur. He tenses up at first but then relaxes.

In silence we both lay there.

I wake up to something nudging me. Opening my eyes I see a pair of curious green eyes looking at me. It's Harry, still in his wolf form. Really not feeling bothered to do something, I close my eyes again and turn to my side, snuggling deeper into his cozy fur.

I can feel his body shaking, probably from laughing and I turn towards him again. He looks at me amused and then out of surprise licks my face. Now that definitely wakes me up completely.

That feels weird but not gross, well maybe a bit.

"Ugh, fine I'm awake now." I say in surrender and look up at the sky. "It's probably time to go huh?" and he nods his head in response.

I stand up and then again go on Harry's back. Within seconds he dashes fowards, heading for the packhouse.

"Louis!! Where were you, I was so worried!" Nina shouts at me concerned when I enter the kitchen.

"Oh, Harry just showed me this really beautiful place, that's all." I answer her. A smile crosses her face and she gives my shoulder a little squeeze.

"Then it's fine I guess." and she takes a seat next to Liam. "What have you guys been up to huh?" I ask them, we did all of a sudden leave them behind.

"She basically treated as if I was a dog." Liam states and then bursts out laughing while Nina gets completely red. "But as long as it makes her happy, I don't mind." and he looks lovingly at her.

Just then Harry walks in, in human form and clothed.

"Soon we will have dinner with my parents, you all will attend." he says and looks at me. "Oh really, is that alright?" I really don't want to butt in or anything.

"Yes, they want to get to know you better since you're my mate. And also you since you're my future's beta mate." Harry explains to the both of us.

Harry's parents are really a lovely couple. Even though it's pretty rare for mates to be of the same gender, they don't mind at all. Sneakily Sandra showed me some pictures of Harry when he was a kid during the dinner. He looked so adorable in them.

But they are a bunch of curious people too, wanting to know every detail of my life.

"You're parents are really nice." I tell Harry when we both walk out of the dining room. His parents already went to their room. Liam went with Nina, him showing her new room.
