Chapter 7

Selena

I open my eyes and I really have to pee. I look at my cell phone clock at it's just after midnight. There is also a text from Charlie.

Charlie- Your sabbatical starts now baby girl. Enjoy! Call me later.

I am excited to be off work for the next six weeks. I get up to go use the bathroom. While I am in there I swear that I hear sobbing from Nyle's room. I peek into his room and he is lying down on his side and his body is shaking in sobs. He is crying hard. It completely breaks my heart.

I take a deep breath and walk in his room. I touch his shoulder and he looks up at me. His eyes are swollen and full of pain. I quickly embrace him in a hug and rub his back over and over. His breaths become slower and I pull away a bit.

"I must look so pathetic right now." He signs.

"No. Nyle you don't look pathetic. Want to tell me about it." I sign wiping his tears with my fingers he grabs my hand and holds it to his face.

"I am just so disappointed in myself. The first time it happened I should been a done deal for me but I stayed like an idiot."

"Nyle, how many times has that happened?"

" I have lost count." He signs getting tearful again.

My heart aches for him. I feel my own tears trickling out of my eyes. I feel so protective of him. I feel so draw to him that it is makes me scared.

"Oh Nyle, I am so sorry. You are an amazing man. You didn't deserve that." I sign.

"You think I am amazing." He signs and smiles. I nod while moving the hair off his forehead. "I think you're amazing too." I can feel my whole body get hot.

"Hey you know what makes me feel better when I am sad. A good Disney movie and popcorn." I sign and he nods yes. "Come on then."

"Where?" He signs.

I grab him by the hand and gently help him out of the bed. I lead him to my room. I get him onto my bed which is a bit hard because it is very high. I place his pillows behind his back.

"Comfy?" I sign and he nods. I go and grab a big case that holds all my dvd movies. "Pick one I'll be right back."

I go into the kitchen and make the popcorn. Once it is done I grab a bowl and throw it in. I grab two cans of coke and put everything on a tray. I am excited that I get to know him better. He makes my heart beat a bit faster. I carry everything into my room and close the door. He smiles at me making my knees feel like Jello. I place the tray on the bed.

"What did you pick?" I sign. He holds up two movies Aladdin and The Lion King. I take The Lion King and put it in. I hand him the remote and he changes it to closed captions and pushes play.

We watch the movie and eat popcorn happily. I am enjoying hanging out with him I feel comfortable with him. I sing and dance along with the movie and I am glad that he is deaf so he can't hear my horrible singing. He is looking at me and smiling brightly.

"What?" I sign feeling self conscious.

"You are adorable Selena." He signs and beams at me.

"Thank you." I sign and blush. " You can call me Sel. The people that are important to me call me Sel." He smiles brightly and his eyes shine.

"Well Sel, I am going to have to kiss you now." He signs. I bite my lip and nod.

He grabs the back of my neck quickly and kisses me. He runs his tongue on the seam of my lips and gently pushes his tongue in my mouth. He tastes amazing. Our tongues are exploring each other's mouths. His fingers are digging into my hips. Our kiss is deep and passionate. I break the kiss to remove my top. He grabs me closer and kisses all over my bear chest. My fingers trace his hard chiseled chest and his chest hair feels silky soft. I can feel his hardness on my thigh. This is getting out of control quickly. He must think the same thing. We break our kiss we are both breathless.

"Wow." He signs. "Maybe we should slow down. I couldn't do anything even if I wanted to and believe I really want to." I laugh.

"Let's watch Aladdin now." I sign grabbing my shirt. He grabs my hand.

"No leave it off. You are gorgeous Sel. He signs and pulls me so that my head is on his chest. I kiss his chest gently and he bends down to kiss my lips softly. He rubs my back and it feels lovely.

We watch Aladdin and snuggle. We begin to doze off in each other's arms.

"Hey Sel. Where is my laptop charger...."Gilbert begins to say as he walks into my room. He sees me wrapped in Nyle's arm and naked from the waist up. "Cousin what is going on!........"
