We make it to the halfway point and my back is killing me. We pull over to take the dogs to stretch their legs and go to the bathroom. We grab some food from a nearby Burger King and we sit down on a bench to eat.

"Baby, can I ask you something?" I sign while taking a drink of my coke.

"Of course you can."

"I know that we have an appointment on Thursday to see the specialist for the babies. I really need to know something." She looks and me and nods. "Will you be sad if the babies are born deaf?"

"Baby no! The only thing that matters to me is that they are healthy. I wouldn't care if they can't hear. They will be perfect to me no matter what!" She signs and I smile.

"I was worried that you would be sad. I have been thinking of that for the past few days. I was just going over what the audiologist might say as far as options go."

"Oh baby I am sorry that you were worried about me being sad. I love you babe. What do you think the Audiologist will bring up?"

"I love you too babe. Well for starters they will probably bring up hearing aids. Nico had them and 'lost' them all the time because he hated them. I never used them myself because I cannot hear not even a little bit. They will probably talk about Cochlear implants but that is invasive and it is a surgical procedure. I am telling you right now I am totally against that idea."

"I don't like that idea either let's see what they say."

"As long as we are on the same page about the Cochlear implants because I have heard horror stories where families were bullied into getting them to find out later they didn't work for their child. They put their baby through that pain for nothing." I sign and she touches my cheek and kisses me.

"I don't want our babies to have to go through that. I'll follow your lead on this baby."

"Ok baby, I love you and whatever happens we are in this together."

Sel insists on driving so that that I can get some rest. She gets in the driver's seat and she looks so small behind the wheel making me laugh. I take a nap and when I wake up we are in LA already. I tell her to pull over so we can switch places so I can drive us to our new home. It is in a gated community in Calabasas. I pull in front of our house and Sel's eyes get wide.

"Welcome home baby." I say. I drive into the garage. I go around and help her out and get the dogs of the back. "The dogs will stay in here at night." I show her the wash room that already has huge dog bowls that have their names on them. "Let me show you around." I open the door that leads to the house and it is decorated like I asked them too. It's classic black and white theme and it looks beautiful. "You want to see our room?"

"Yes please." she signs and the dogs follow close behind us. I open the door and she smiles. The picture from the gala is on a large canvas above our large king sized oak bed. It has step on her side to help her up and down. I take her to the bathroom in our room and show her the black and white claw tub. The shower is massive and it is also a steam room combo which makes her jump up and down.

"Do you like it?"

"I love it!"

"I have one more thing to show you." I grab her by the hand and take her to a room down the hall from our room. "I know it is early but I couldn't resist. We can always change it later if you want to." I open the door and let her see the room. Her mouth is wide open when she sees the nursery with two cribs and changing tables. The center piece of the room is a mural of Peter Rabbit that Jose did for us. She has tears falling down her face. I grab her and she leaps into my arms and hugs me tightly.

"I love you so much Nyle."

"I love you too baby. I will do anything for you and my babies. The three of you are my world."
