Chapter 25

Selena

I wake to kisses on my face than my lips. I open my eyes and smile at Nyle. His hair is wet from a shower.

"Charlie is here to help you get ready. Are you ok?"

"Yes. Just a bit tired." I sign and I kiss his lips.

Charlie comes in and sees us kissing and makes a face. Nyle sticks his tongue at him and laughs. He kisses me one more time.

"Have fun getting ready and talking about me," Nyle signs and leaves my room.

Charlie helps me with my hair and makeup. We go with a side braid and darker makeup. I go to my dresser and take out my birth control pills and I pop one in my mouth.

"You look fantastic. I really like that Chocolate lip stick on you. Oh hey before I forget Jacob got a certified letter that was sent to his house for you. He gave it to me yesterday but I forgot it at home. I'll bring it tomorrow ok?"

"Ok thanks. Just put it on my dresser tomorrow."

"Ok! Show time let's go show you off to your man, let me go see if he's ready!" He leaves and comes back. "He is more than ready! The horn-dog." We both laugh.

We head out to the living room and Nyle looks up. His eyes are bright his smile reaches his eyes as he beams at me.

"You're so freaking hot!" He signs and I blush. "Ready to go?"

"Yes I am."

We head to the restaurant but he is not giving me any details of where we are going. We end up at a valet parking at Spagos. My eyes are huge as I look at him. He grins and laughs at me.

"This place is so fancy."

"Anything for you baby!"

We go into the restaurant and we are seated quickly. Apparently it's a four course dinner this is all new to me. Not sure if I will be able to finish eating my food but I am excited to try. They bring the menus and normally I do not eat red meat but the New York Steak looks mouthwatering.

We place our orders and Nyle orders a bottle of Red Bordeaux wine. He grabs my face from across the table and kisses my lips.

"I can't believe three weeks have flown by. It's been the best three weeks of my life. I can't believe that I'll go back to full time everything on Monday." He signs.

"It's been amazing for me too. Nyle promise me that you won't burn yourself out again."

"I know baby. I'll try as long as you are there it will be a reminder for me to slow down. I found out my house is complete."

"That's great!"

"I wish we had more time."

"Babe you are only a few minutes away. We will make it work out."

Our food comes and it is divine. The steak melts in my mouth. I eat every morsel of food on my plate and even fit in a dessert. I can't believe that I ate that much food. We head home and we get in and Gilbert and Charlie greet us.

"How was Spago!" Gilbert Says and signs

"Amazing! Going to bed now." I sign.

"Sure you are Baby Girl." Charlie laughs.

We get to my room and I head to the bathroom to remove my makeup. Nyle turns on the shower and takes off his clothes.

"Take a shower with me babe." He signs. I nod and take off my dress and place it on the counter.

We make love under the warm stream of water. It feels different for some reason he feels more snug in me and I know he feels it too.

"Wow baby you're really tight. It must be because we are standing up." He signs and I nod.

We head to bed and I fall asleep while he works on his speech. I wake up to the bed shaking, Nyle's alarm. That is going to take some getting used to.

"Babe we have to get ready to go to Dodger Stadium."

"Ok." I get up slowly. I feel drained and I have a headache.

"You ok?"

"Yeah. I have a headache but I'll be ok."

We get dressed and he pulls out his new jersey and puts it on. He looks so cute because he is so excited to throw out the first pitch. There is a bounce to his step and it makes me so happy to see. Gilbert is going as his interpreter and Charlie is going as Gilbert's guest.

We head to Dodger Stadium when we get there man in a suit greets us. He hands Nyle a box and it has a current season Jersey in it. It says Dimarco on the back of it.

"We ask that you wear this Jersey when you throw out pitch today." He says as Gilbert interprets. Nyle looks at me.

"It's ok babe. Put it on." I sign and smile.

He takes off his jersey and hands it to me. He puts on the one he was given. I notice the sleeve and my heart pounds. It says Selena's with heart next to it. I point it out to him and he beams at me. The man hands me a box too and it has another jersey in it. The jersey also says Dimarco on the back and my sleeve says Nyle's with a heart on it too. I am so happy. Charlie and Gilbert get t-shirts too. That was very nice of them to do that. We take photos and Nyle pulls out his cellphone and takes a photo of us and puts it on Instagram.

He takes his position on the mound and he throws out the first pitch. He is ecstatic he jumps up pumping his fist in the air. He runs back to me and picks me up and kisses me. We end up on the Kiss-Cam. Charlie was able to capture everything on video.

We head home before the game ends. If Nyle had his way we would have stayed. But we have to hurry back to get ready for the Gala. Nyle let's us know that he and Gilbert need to go before us to make sure everything is ready at the place.

"Sel I left the letter that Jacob gave me on your dresser." Charlie says.

"Thanks love. I wonder what it is?"

I go in my room and Nyle is already there taking off his Jersey. I take mine off too.

" I got a lot of likes of our photo." He signs.

"That's great babe." I sign picking up the letter on my dresser.

I notice that the letter is from my OB/GYN Dr. Young. I begin to read it and I start to shake and tears begin to stream down my face. I drop the letter to the floor.

This can't be happening!
