                      Chapter 7

The next two days flew by for Draven. Saturday they unpacked and put stuff away. Sunday he went back home for family supper at his grandparents and then that night him and Jesse just hung out and played Battlefield 4. He went to bed relatively early because his first class was an early one.

His alarm clock went off three different times before he managed to drag himself out of bed and into the shower.

When he walked into the living room Jesse was already on the couch, putting his shoes on.

"Damn it man, why in the Hell do they have classes at six in the morning? " He groaned when he seen Draven.

" Your guess is as good as mine. But this is the only class that I have today, so at least it will be done and over with." He answered his cousin as he made his way over to the coffee pot.

After he finished his coffee he brushed his teeth and the two headed out.

"See ya later." Jesse said through a yawn.

  Draven just waved.

As soon as he walked into the class room he was instantly awake. Looking around he quickly found the source of his drumming heart beat.

She was sitting there with one of the girls that he had seen the other day at the restaurant. His legs automatically moved him in that direction. He was able to force himself to sit behind her instead of right next to her, like his body was demanding.

As he sat down she looked back at him and smiled at him warmly. His heart started beating rapidly,  and his breath hitched in chest. He knew in that one little gesture that he needed her.

"Hey there sexy, what's your name?" The blonde sitting next to her asked.

"Really Terri?" The brunette said looking at her friend in annoyance. Then looking back at Draven she said, "I'm sorry about my friend. Just ignore her. I'm Eryn." She reached her hand back to shake his.

He only  hesitated for a second before grabbing it, enjoying the way his soul swelled in his chest, reaching for it's other half. He cleared his throat, "I'm Draven." he said while shaking her small hand.

He bit back a wimper when she released his grasp. "It's nice to meet you." She gave him a look as though she recognized him, but shrugged it off and turned around as the teacher walked in.

"Nice to meet you? Really Eryn is that all you have to say to that fine piece of a man? How about, 'Damn boy I want to lick you all over'"

"Terri, seriously shut the Hell up." Eryn whispered to her friend, while glancing out of the corner of her eye to see if Draven had heard her. She groaned softly when she saw the corners of his mouth turned up.

Terri didn't say anything else when the instructor started speaking, and the next hour and a half went by too fast for Draven's liking.

He got up in a hurry when class was let out and reached the door just before the two girls did. "Here let me get that." He said as politely as he could, before opening it. Eryn smiled at him again before telling him thank you, and he knew that he was a goner.

Not ready for her to be out of his sight just yet he walked away and let the door hit the person that was walking out. "Sorry" he muttered, before taking off across the grass.

He had made up his mind that he wanted her. He knew that he could get her to love him too. After that he would talk to her. If she didn't want to bind their souls, he could live with that. What he couldn't live without, was her.

Draven caught up to the girls in the court yard.

"Hey, Eryn!" He stopped when she turned and met his eyes with her own. His broken soul jumped into his throat.

"Yes?" She asked with her eyebrows scrunched in confusion.

He cleared his throat before he continued, "Um, I was wondering if you wanted to get something to eat with me."

"Yeah, we would love to!" Terri blurted out before Eryn could answer.

Draven glanced at her before turning his attention back to his mate. She smiled shyly and then shrugged, "Sure, why not?"

He bit back the huge grin that threatened to spread across his face. With more pep in his step he and the girls headed off for the cafe.

The wind blew just as Draven opened the door for Eryn and Terri, he lifted his nose to the air and sniffed subtly. Mixed with her scent was another, almost familiar one. His soul slammed into his chest, trying to break free from it's confines. He knew something wasn't right, And he really didn't know if he wanted to know what it was.
