                        Chapter 12

Once Draven picked himself up he went into his room without saying a word to Jesse.

He stripped down and climbed into the shower, staying in there until the steaming water ran cold.

When he climbed out he didn't get dressed, instead he let the change take over him. He hopped into his king sized bed and slept as a wolf, allowing his other form's grief to surround him.

He growled when his bedroom door swung open, and bright light shined in his face.

"Draven Martin, get your ass up now!" His eyes snapped open at the sound of his baby sister's voice.

  He huffed at her.

"Don't you dare huff at me boy. Get up and get changed. We didn't drive all of the way up here to watch you continue to wallow in your misery. It has been three days and Jesse told us that you haven't been in human form since the day that you found out about everything. Now get up and get your tail out here!" With that Ansleigh walked out, shutting the door.

Draven growled softly, before allowing himself to turn back into a person. He threw on a pair jeans before opening the door.

"Ansleigh,  why can't you just butt out-" He stopped when he noticed that it wasn't just his sister and cousin in the living room. They were joined by Alex, Devlin, Asher, and Madison.

"Um, what are ya'll doing here?" He asked, completely confused.

"Come on man, did you really think that we were going to let you go through all of this alone? As soon as Jesse told us that you were refusing to shift, go to school, or to even eat, we knew that we had to come knock some sense into you." His twin answered for everyone.

"I appreciate it. I really do. But it was a waste of gas to come here. I just want to wallow for a little bit and then I'll be ok. I'll make up my classes and find a femwolf who doesn't have a mate for whatever reason, to be my Luna. That's what I was planning on doing in the first place. She said that she doesn't want anything to do with our kind, and that's what I'll give her." Draven explained with a shrug.

"Wow Draven, I never took you for a coward." A soft voice spoke.

All eyes turned to Madison in shock as her face turned red and she dipped her head. "Well,  it's true." She whispered.

"I happen to agree with her." Devlin said. "Yeah, she pretty much told you to get bent but that doesn't mean that you have to listen. She is your other half man! Why aren't you fighting to complete yourself?"

Draven looked around at his family and slowly nodded his head. He realized that they were right. He was going to be an Alpha one day, it was time that he grew a pair, and started acting like it.

He walked out of his apartment with Devlin hot on his heels.

He only had to knock once before Terri jerked open the door. Her once flirtatious look was now a cold, hardened stare.

"What do you want Draven?" She spat out, folding her arms over her chest.

He cleared his throat nervously,  "Um I wanted to check on Eryn. Can I talk to her, please?" He spoke politely.

  "She's not here."

"When will she be back?" Draven felt his pulse rate quicken.

"I don't know. She went home." Terri snapped at him.

  "Home?" He choked out.

Terri's eyed narrowed at him. "Yes home. She said that she was taking the rest of the semester off to go be with her family.  So that they can help her with the baby. Since your man-whore of a cousin took off on her."

Draven began to shake, "She's, she went back to Ohio?!"

"That's what I just said isn't it? Thanks to you and your stupid family my best friend has taken off, and left me to rot in this Hell hole alone. I hope you're happy!" She slammed the door in his face.

"Far from it." He muttered to the wood.

He felt his brorher's hand on his shoulder.

Looking at Devlin his brow raised when he seen the smile on his face. "I'm glad that my misery amuses you little brother."

"Not your misery bro. But you know I always get excited at the thought of a rouad trip!"

  "Road trip?" Draven questioned.

"I know you didn't think that I was going to let you go to Ohio without me, did you?" His grin getting wider.

Draven looked at the youngest Roth boy and shook his head. A small smile appeared on his own lips, as realization dawned on him. They were going to find his other half, and bring her back to where she belonged.

He put his hand on Devlin's shoulder and squeezed,  "I wouldn't dream of it little brother."
