                       Epilogue

"Draven grab the cake please." Eryn yelled out as she walked out the back door.

Dodging a couple of kids, she made her way over to the table to set the gift that she was carrying down.

She looked around and rubbed her belly smiling. The twins were getting impatient to make their debut into the world, she just hoped that they would wait until after today.

"Thank you baby." She told her husband as he set the big cake down on the table.

Draven smiled at her and gave her a kiss. "You're welcome love." He looked around, "Where is our child?" He asked.

"Running around with his cousins. Acting like a typical six year old. He's probably-" She was interrupted by Drexlin running up to her screaming.

"Uncle Draven, Aunt Eryn you have to come right now!"

The parents took off running in the direction that the pup was telling them to go.

  "What happened?!" Draven demanded.

"Karmyn took Lupo's ball and he got mad when she wouldn't give it back. He started shaking, and well..." He trailed off and pointed.

The couple gasped in unison. Sitting there looking very scared was a small black and tan wolf pup.

"Is, is that Lupo?!" Eryn whispered.

"It is. If he were a wolf, he would be able to change now, he is six. But I don't get it. He shouldn't be able to turn. We never detected any wolf gene in him." Draven answered, then turned to his nephew, "Go get Papa Daymen, please."

"Yes Alpha." Drexlin said, before running off.

"Draven." Eryn spoke, getting his attention back on her. She was holding a shivering Lupo in her arms. "He looks just like your wolf. And your father, and grandfather." She whispered.

His eyes widened as he realized that she was right. It had been awhile since he had seen Ryan's wolf. They still hadn't seen him since he took off. Shawn told them that he had called to tell them that he had found his mate in California and was joining her pack. That was the last that they had heard from him. But even still, he remembered that Ryan was a brown wolf. Not a speck of black or tan on him.

Daymen pulled his son, daughter-n-law and grandson into the doctor's office.

"Thank you for seeing us on such short notice." He told the doctor.

"It was no problem. Let me look at him."

Eryn set the pup on the table.

"Oh my! This is a surprise. Alright, I have an idea but first I need to swab Draven and Lupo's mouths."

They looked at him in confusion,  but Draven opened his mouth. The doctor did the swab and walked out of the room, leaving the family sitting there with only more questions.

The doctor came back in the room almost thirty minutes later.  "I have the results, I put a rush on them." He looked at Draven, "Congratulations, it's a boy."

  "Excuse me?" Draven asked.

The doctor sighed. "Apparently when you bound your souls, while he was in the womb, it split his as well. His wolf was created in him, before he was born. So he carries the wolf gene now.

Since it happened while he was in the womb, as he was still forming, when his soul was split by your soul he took on your DNA. That explains the bleeding that night. It was kind of like an intrauterine DNA transfusion.

With having his once completed soul split, forming his wolf, he will have the same traits as his mom. As well as all of the power from his dad. He is a unique wolf,  that's for sure." He stopped and looked up at the three that were staring at him with wide eyes, and mouths dropped opened.

"So he has all of mine and Eryn's DNA. He is our child in every way possible?" Draven asked.

"That is exactly what I'm saying." The doctor answered. He looked back to the little wolf, and whispered, "Lupo is next in line for Alpha."
