"Congrats, Ate!" I say and hug Clarisa my sister and bestfriend since birth, whom is now married to my brother-in-law, Evan.
"Thanks beshie! This wouldn't be happeing if it weren't for you!"
Truly, it was because of me why she and Evan fell inlove. We were in college then and I kept teasing her on Evan, the guy who kept on staring at her during class. I planned a surprise date for them and they slowly fell inlove. It didn't last long they got engaged and got married.
"You know I got your back bessy! So happy for you guys!" I said and smiled, I watched as they disapeared in the crowd.
I soon caught myself staring at an awfully handsome lad who had milk white skin and a very cute dimple.
"Hey miss, are you okay?"
Then I realized he was Evan's cousin, RJ.
Damn that face, he is way, way far from the RJ I met years ago.
"Oh, what? I mean-- Yeah! Of course I am." I said and smiled, Did he catch me staring at him?
"Wait, your Maine right? Clarisa's sister?" God, why is his voice so smooth and breezy? I could die listening to it!
"Oh yeah, your RJ right? Long time no see."
He scrunched his nose and looked at me with curiousity, Of course he dosen't remember me. I was just one of his one-night stands back in college anyways.
"Just kidding, nice meeting you." I forced a smile.
"Wait, You look familiar. Are you the nerd in class back in third year college?"
Well atleast he remembered, ugh.
I suddenly heard a ring from my purse, it was--
"Hello, Baby? Yes, I am. No, wait where are you? Okay, okay, see you. I'll come home as soon as I can. Okay bye, I love you. Take care!"
"Your boyfriend?" RJ asked with an eyebrow up.
Dumbass, I was talking to your..
"No, It was just.. A friend of mine."
"Ah, I see, with benefits? Cause I'm sure I don't call my 'friend' Baby and say 'I love you' and 'take care' just like that."
Sarcasm, ugh. What do you want me to tell you, that I was talking to your four yea-
"Well I was talking to my roomate and her name is Baby. Not that kind of person, eww."

"Why do you keep on spacing out like that?"
"Nothing. Got a problem with that?"
"No, I just find it... How do I say this without sounding like a perv?"
"Hahaha, don't worry, I already knew you were a perv a long time ago, go on."
He chuckled and smiled at me, I wonder what he's thinking.
"I just find it hot. Hahahaha! Just kidding. Anyways I gotta go, my date's waiting for me outside."
Oh, he has a date. Good job, Meng. What a great time you picked to see this guy again.
