Society likes to put people in boxes. They don't like it when people escape their box they want everyone to be the same.
Straight.
Preppy.
Cisgender.
Normal.
But what exactly is normal? Normal is a girl with blonde hair walking through the streets with her boyfriend.
Normal is being forced to be something you're not because society is just too afraid to accept a little color in their life.
What is normal?
Normal is a stereotype society imprints on a infant at birth, normal is the only way society lives, normal is a box you are shoved in.
So I open the flaps of the box, I spread my wings and I fly away.
I fly away from all the lies I've been forced to tell, I fly from all the people that put fake smiles on their faces and think everything is okay.
I fly.
I fly so far that normal is no longer a word in my mind.
And as I'm in flight I have never felt more colorful. I have never felt so me.
Because normal isn't a box. Normal isn't real.
So fly.
Fly as far as your wings can carry you. Fly as far as you can until you forget society's definition of normal.
Fly until you are you.
