Arthur's POV
I hummed along to the radio as Alfred drove to the familiar home. He turned down the neighborhood, filling me with happy little flashbacks and memories.
"Remember, we met right there Arthur," Alfred pointed out, it was on the pavement, right under a basketball hoop. When did that get here?
Alfred smiled, but I was the one to respond. "Oh yeah, I remember that."
"You do?"
"Like it was yesterday, Love."It was a cold, November rainy day. People were actually concerned for snow. No one ever saw snow really, even in some place as cold as Britain. It was always just rain. Which it remained, but nevertheless it was cold and rainy.
And then there's Arthur, walking down the pavement of his neighborhood, his hands in his pockets and thinking to himself.
He was looking down through all of this, watching his feet as he prepared to walk up to his and his mum's house that was also shared with his little brother, Peter. All of the sudden his thoughts were interrupted when he was pushed harshly, falling to the floor.
"What the bloody hell?!" He looked up, his anger bubbling up, boiling and boiling.
"Woah! Sorry dude! I didn't mean to knock ya down," greeted a boy's voice, Arthur stared at the man above him. His anger sort of cooled when he saw who was before him.
He was extremely attractive, he had these.. Beautiful blue eyes, and blonde hair to go along with it, with this notable cowlick. The man gave Arthur a weird look, for Arthur to realize he had been staring the whole time.
"Uh dude...? My hand's getting tired.." He said, apparently his hand had been extended to help Arthur up.Although, Arthur just got himself off the pavement, glaring at the highly..highly attractive boy before him. He was much taller than him as well. Arthur couldn't help but blush.
"Once again, really sorry about knocking you down like that," the stranger rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. Arthur chuckled.
"No need sir, I'm alright."
"You're bleeding," the man pointed out. Arthur looked at his elbows, they were scraped up, they were bleeding pretty bad.
"Oh lord, I apologize. It seems that I am."The man chuckled, "Let me help you with that-"
"No need, I promise I can take care of myself."
"Please, it's only fair after I completely ran you down."Arthur shrugged, "Fine, do as you must. I just live a couple houses down."
The man chuckled, "Convenient. I'm Alfred by the way."
Arthur shook his hand shyly, "Pleasure to meet you, I'm Arthur."I smiled, Alfred even chuckled too. "You were such a shy dork. I swear you were blushing."
"I was not! It was abnormally warm that day."
"It was freezing that day! Don't be embarrassed you were blushing, it's adorable."
"Nothing about me is adorable."
"Sure, but sexy is a different story."I silently blushed, turning away from Alfred.
"Artie we're here~" Alfred cooed to me, I perked up a bit and smiled. I hadn't seen my family in so long, I was really excited to see them.Alfred pulled up into the driveway and I immediately got out of the car, walking up the familiar steps. Alfred ran up and joined me, he glanced over at me and he shone a smile on his face.
"Go ahead, knock."
"I'll knock."
"Knock!"
"I'm knocking!"I raised my hand to the door and knocked, I heard scurrying and saw the door handle slowly turn.
"We don't want your fairy flo- Arthur?" A deeper voice asked me, it didn't sound familiar at all."Hello?" I looked up, an older looking Peter stood before me, smiling. "Bloody Hell! Peter?"
"Goddamn Puberty hit you like a bitch," Alfred pointed out. I hit Alfred's arm, "Be polite."
Peter just laughed, "Yeah Brother, I've gotten big! I told you! I told you I'd get big and strong!"
"In a years time too."
Peter proudly nodded his head, smiling.
