Summary: you and laf have a sword-fight.

Sighing, you get out of the bed and quickly get ready, walking out of your tent. As soon as you got out, you feel an arm thrown around your shoulders. " Hey sleepyhead, " you hear a voice and your hair is getting ruffled. You look down slightly to see Alexander Hamilton. Should've known.

" Hi Hamilton, " you huff, rubbing your eyes. You walk in silence with him to eat. You sit down next to John Laurens, across from Lafayette. You pick at food, mind wandering wherever as the three men talk. You hear your name, and you quickly snap out of the trance you were in. " Huh? "

" I said, what's a weird talent you have? " John asks, tilting his head like a puppy. It was pretty adorable. " Uh, " you think for a second, " I'm a skilled swordsman. "

The men burst out in laughter. " You, a swordsman? I'll believe it when I see it, " Alex giggles like a little kid. " You wanna see my skills? One of you sword-fight me then! " you exclaim, slamming your hand down. They looked surprised.

" I'll sword-fight you, " Laf grinned.
" Alright, then it's settled. "

Glancing down and back up, you look at Alexander. " You're sure I can borrow it? " you question, looking back down into the reflection of you on the flashy sword. " Yeah. "

You grin, " Thanks Hammy. " and grab his shoulders, ruffling his hair. " Hey! " he whines, looking up at you. You were a couple of inches taller than him. Sliding the sword into its sheath, you walked out of the tent, Alexander following close behind. " When's it starting? "
he asked, glancing around the camp.

" I'm pretty sure now, " you murmur, walking towards where you decided to meet them. " Bonjour (Y/N), Alexander, " Lafayette stood with a confident smile, running a finger along his sword.

" Hello, Lafayette, " you countered, pulling the blade out of its sheath. It wasn't like your trusty sword back at home, but it would do. " Are you ready to get your ass served to you on a silver platter? "

John and Alex were snickering from the sidelines. " As if! Mon ange, I am truly the best and you will not win. " Laf was clearly flustered, slightly blushing. " Hmm, we'll see about that. "

You both bowed, and went to opposite sides of the field. Laf was the first to make a move, he quickly ran up and lunged to stab at your chest, which you quickly countered with your sword.

You ran alongside one another, and stopped, swords clashing, up down, up down. You tried to swing at his feet, but he jumped, just missing the blade. He tried to swing at your lower body, but you dodged, jumping up and doing a backflip midair to show off. At that, Alex and John gasped.

A couple of swings, and your sword was in front of your face blocking his, pausing for a moment.

You could hear John yell, " Go (Y/N) go! " but Alex yelled over him, " Go Laf!!! " just to be an asshole. You glared, and Laf took the opportunity to hit the sword out of your hands, behind him.

He swiftly made a swing that would have cut your neck, but you slid under it on your knees and grabbed your sword.

He ran over, and you put your foot out, tripping him. You put the sword in front of his face, grinning, and foot on his chest.
" Wow, " Lafayette murmured, blushing, but you didn't see as Alex and John were running over.

" That was so cool! You didn't even hurt each other, and you countered everything, (Y/N)! " John gushed, smiling. " Thanks, you guys, uh, " you look down at Laf, " need some help? " you offer a hand. He grabs it and you pull him up. "

We can talk more in the morning, yes? We need to be getting to sleep, " Laf sighed. You all nodded and you pressed a kiss to Laf's cheek. " Nice job! See you guys in the morning! " you give Alex back his sword and rush off.
