Nearly a year later and you had beaten so many enemies. You felt so close to victory, that you'd beat the man who caused you to become a hero: Hawkmoth. A dark brown, curly haired man with light brown skin from what you could see that wasn't covered by his mask.

You and Ladybug had formed a bond nothing could break. A best friend, flirty feel. You'd fallen head over heels for the man behind the mask; he was smart, he was funny, he was trustworthy. What more could you ask for in a companion?

" Pound it! " he exclaimed after a victory. Not noticing the clicking of the both of your miraculous' you went in for it. As soon as your fist connected with his, your heroine identity slowly faded away, along with his. Your eyes widening, you looked him up and down.

He had dark gray cargo pants on with a heather gray t-shirt tucked in. His hair was the same; the brown curly hair tied back but instead with a black band. He had several freckles tracking all up and down his face. His eyes, similar to yours, were wide and alert.

The two kwamis you possessed had quickly flew over to one another, talking excitedly that they'd been reunited. They didn't really acknowledge that you two were gaping at one another.

" Shit, " you moaned out, " well we broke the one rule we had. " He nodded, sighing and blushing, rubbing his neck. " Well, okay, I guess it's not that bad since no one else is around. By now, we have nothing to lose. I'm John Laurens. "

" (Y/N) (L/N), my love, " you grinned, giving a little bow. He giggled, shaking his head at you. " Guess you're still the suave nerd despite not having the mask, " he said through giggles. " Somewhat. Hey, why don't we get to know each other..? We could go to my place..? "

He agreed and you guys walked to your apartment. Letting him in, you followed behind. " It's really weird to see each other normally. You're a normal person living in New York. You know what I mean? " John asked, looking around your living room.

" Yeah, it's odd. I didn't except my counterpart to be so attractive, " you flirt, sitting on the couch. He sits down next to you, " You damn dweeb. " Laughing, you turn on the news.

The on and off flirting went on for a couple hours, before getting cut off by the news. " Breaking News! An asteroid is falling. We are looking for Ladybug and Chat Noir at the moment. Stay indoors! "

Both of you quickly transformed and went out to the scene. Quite literally, an asteroid was falling down. Gasping, you two looked at each other, getting ready and forming a plan. But then, a man that looked to be a miraculous holder jumped up and pushed it back up into the sky, sending it off.

Looking down on the crowd below, he grinned. " I am Vulpine, the only superhero New York needs! " he yelled, causing the crowd to go wild.

You exchanged glances. " Do we have a new recruit..? " you asked, looking at Ladybug. " I don't know. Isn't it odd that a new superhero comes out of the blue when we've been doing what we've supposed to been doing, well at that? " he questioned. You nodded. " At least he got the job done, I guess? " you shrug.
