Once Charlie told his son about his love affair with another man, he decided he really wanted both his kids to meet the only other person who made him happy besides them. He knew Cara would be leaving for college soon, so he decided that maybe going out to eat together for early dinner would be nice.
Tyler was sat facing Josh on the large bed, his hand between his lap holding down the hoodie, while he leaned over to Eskimo kiss the older boy. He let out a small giggle, and nervously attached their lips together in a fast kiss. Only pulling away to hid his face in his hands since he was sure his cheeks were turning red.
"Don't hide that pretty little face of yours." Josh spoke with a smile, his hands moving up to gently pull Tyler's palms away from his eyes.
Charlie wanted to be bothered by all the affection but he was to busy wondering why his wife, well soon to be ex-wife, thought he was such a bad person. Then again maybe he was, but with Tyler he acted like the sweetest boy any man would be glad to hand over their child to.
Cara beamed while watching her younger brother giggle and smile. That's what she wanted to see when it came to Tyler, and she loved it every time she did see it.
A knock on the door was heard, Tyler's head lifted in confusion, Cara and Josh looked over at Charlie who had a small smile on his face. Moving to open the door, the siblings father stopped and turned to them.
"Kids, I'd like for you to meet Travis." He smiled, as he unlocked the door revealing a boy with delicate pale looking skin, dark raven hair, grey eyes, and pink lips. He was wearing a grey sweater, black pants, and black frames were adorning his eyes.
"Hello." He nervously said, taking in the looks of teenagers in the room.
Tyler squealed when his father kissed the other boy on the cheek and he blushed, they were just so cute.
"I'm Cara, this is my little brother Tyler, and his boyfriend Josh." She said, showing off the two who were sitting close together on the bed. A small hand that belonged to the brunet, lifted up to raise as a greeting, the other boy behind him sent him a quick smile before turning back to admire Tyler.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Travis." He smiled cutely, sticking his hand out to shake his boyfriends daughters hand.
"I'm Tyler, I like the color mint green, I have a birdie name Leo... well technically he's not mine but I save him when he was younger and now he always comes to see me in my garden, I love to draw, I'm sixteen years old, and I really like Joshie, but shh don't tell him I told you that." The young brunet said with a whisper at the end, a red blush coating his cheeks once he was finished.
Travis couldn't help but smile at the young boy who was grinning from ear to ear.
"I'm Travis, I like the color blue, I have a kitten named Meko, I play the piano, I'm thirty-four years old, and I really like your father." He whispered to Tyler towards the end, both of them giggling once they were done sharing a little bit about each other.
"I wanted to learn the piano, but mama always forgot." Tyler shrugged, a pout forming on his lips. "Maybe you can teach me!" He gasped.
"I'd love to teach you sometime." Travis smiled.

"So, Josh is it?" Charlie asked as they sat around a table at some restaurant. Tyler's father decided to take them all out of eat so they could properly meet Travis, and so Cara would have something to remember them all by before college.
"Yes, sir." Josh nodded politely.
"What do you plan on doing after school?" He asked, his hand holding Travis' on the table. Tyler smiled loving the happiness radiating off his father for the first time in a very long time.
"If you want me to lie, I plan on going to college, getting a degree in law, living a wealthy life. If you want me to tell you the truth, I don't really have any plan on what I want to do when I'm older." He shrugged. Travis chuckled lightly at that, as well as Cara who was sipping on her glass of soda.
"I appreciate your honesty." Charlie said with a shrug.
"I don't know what I wanna do yet either so 's okay Joshie. We can just do nothing together." Tyler giggled, pressing a loving kiss onto Joshua's cheek.
"I heard your going to college, tomorrow correct?" Travis politely asked Cara who smiled with a nod.
"Yeah, I'm actually going to Stanford for psychology." She said proudly.
"Hey, I went to Stanford for the same thing!" Travis happily said, glad to have something common with Charlie's oldest kid.
"Really?" Cara asked with wide eyes, Tyler snuggled up into Joshua's side, smiling at his sister and Travis getting alone.
"You okay, Bambi?" Josh asked when he heard the brunet sigh.
Tyler craned his neck to look up, he smiled and nodded the best he could. "I'm very happy joshie, I thought I'd be sad cause mommy was mean to me, but I don't need her when I have you guys." He said with a cute blush, his lips tilting up into a soft smile.
"I'm really glad your happy, Tyler. You're too precious to be sad, and you deserve more than the world." Josh whispered, keeping their conversation more private between the two of them.
As Josh watched Tyler look up at him with so much innocence, and so much happiness, he couldn't help but lean down and attach their lips together. Not caring if his father saw him do it.
"Hey, were in a restaurant can't you two have some decency." Charlie joked. Tyler pulled away with a giggle, and covered his cheeks.
Cheekily, Josh picked up the menu and opened it up to shield him and Tyler from everyone's view. His lips pressing against Tyler's once again. The brunet lifted a delicate hand to cradle the pink haired boys cheek, and smiled into the kiss with half lidded eyes. The sight making Joshua's heart swell.
He decided it was time to say what had been on his mind for a while now. "I love you." He whispered against the brunet's lips. Joshua knew they were young, Tyler was only sixteen and he was only seventeen but Josh didn't throw the word love out so easily.
The last time he used that word was before his parents started to ignore him, so back in seventh grade. He was almost a senior in high school.
"Y-you mean that?" Tyler asked, happy tears welling in his eyes.
"I do." Josh whispered, nudging the boys jaw with his nose.
"I love you too, Joshie. So much." He responded.
