.:: chapter four - perfidious ::.

🌻🌾🌻

Joshua was running. Why was he running? Because he had just gotten into a fight with a jock at his school who thought it would be right to make fun of the innocent boy that lived next door to him. One, Josh didn't know how the boy knew his Bambi, but he didn't question it when his fist was connecting with the guys nose. His best friend Frank, was trailing close behind him with his hand in his boyfriend's as they ran down the block to the one destination only they, Brendon and Ryan, knew about.

It was an abandoned warehouse with a skate park in the back. A place the group usually came after they got into trouble with the law and wanted to smoke weed.

"Fuck the police!" Gerard screamed, giggling afterwards as he jumped up and down on the tips of his converse.

With a loud laugh, frank grabbed Gerard by the waist and planted his lips against the older boy, kissing with force from the adrenaline rushing through his veins.

Josh chuckled as his friends feverishly kissed each other, pulling the book bag off of his back and grabbing out a hidden bag of marijuana, popping it open and getting the attention of Gerard and Frank.

"Let me roll it, you got to roll it last time." Frank said with a chuckle escaping the rosy pink pair of lips that sat upon his face.

"Have it at bro." Josh said, handing the bag over to the shorter yet older teenage boy. Frank took the supplies he needed out of his bag, using a bit of tobacco, not a lot but a bit, he grinds up the addicting substance and sets it on top of the herb, grabbing out a piece of paper to make a filter to stuff that inside the unrolled joint.

"Hurry up babe." Gerard said impatiently.

"Patience baby, perfectly rolled joints take time my boy." Frank said with a laugh.

picking up the paper and gently rolling it back and forth a couple times to pack the mixture together, Frank then folded the paper down on the side closest to himself before he rolled it in the same direction. He licked the adhesive strip and twisted the end of the joint before admiring his work.

"Beautiful." Frank said dreamily, laughing when Josh hit his shoulder playfully and started to light the joint now in Gerard's hold.

The red haired boy took a hit from the drug and coughed slightly, handing it to josh who took a drag as well. It didn't take long until they were all high. Gerard laughing at nothing, Frank overly horny, and Josh questioning everything.

"What's you thinking 'bout sugar?" Gerard asked, legs crossed together as he sat in Frank's lap, arm thrown around his neck, the tips of his index and middle finger holding the joint up to his boyfriend's lips.

"Bambi." Josh responded, blood shot eyes taking the joint to take another swig at it.

With a giggle Gerard asked, "the disney movie?" To which Joshua shook his head no.

"The boy next door." He responded, a smile appearing on his face at the mere thought of the boy. The dark brown speckled dots that cascaded beautifully down the bridge of his nose, across the highest peeks of his cheek. The pikachu onesie he wore, hanging loosely off his small body in the most winsome way, the Daisy flower crown contrasting against his darkened brown hair.

Tyler was precious.

"Wait the boy next door to your house is named Bambi?" Frank asked, Gerard fish mouthing at his neck, legs astride Frank's hips.

Josh shook his head. "His names Tyler, he's the most innocent boy I've ever met." Josh took another drag, forming smoke rings as he exhaled.

"Josh gotta crush?" Gerard breathlessly asked, lips swollen from leaving deep purple and red marks all over his boyfriends neck, something he obviously took pride in.

"Not sure yet." Josh replied.

Later on during the day when Josh was back at home, eyes still blood shot but hidden behind a pair of black glasses. Army jacket on, black shirt underneath, black skinny jeans resting against his legs, and a grey SnapBack turned backwards. He was chewing gum to try and hide the fact that he had been doing drugs, but he knew that it wouldn't work.

"Were you seriously out getting high with your friends?" Josh's mom Sophia asked with her arms crossed, a stern expression settling on her face.

"If my jacket smells of weed then yes. It's sort of obvious, isn't it?" He said, removing his hat to run his hands through his pink dyed hair with a grumpy sigh.

"You're only seventeen! You don't need to be doing drugs Joshua." She sighed, a hand coming over her face.

"Look, Sophia, you've never cared about me before so why pretended to care now?" With that Josh turned around to go up into his room. Leaving the lights off, he went straight to his window lifting the glass up and sliding out onto his roof. Sitting at the edge, Josh watched the sun go down in his backyard, his back flat against against the rooftop as he peered into the sky.

He wasn't angry, per se, but he was agitated beyond belief. He hated the way his parents acted, mostly his mom. Sophia acted like she gave a shit when in reality she couldn't give a damn about him and neither could his father. It had always been like that since an event that took place.

A sudden voice made Josh jump due to the fact he wasn't expecting it.

"Jishwa, what'ya doin' on the roof?" The boy with the freckled cheeks asked, a few heavenly giggles escaping the his lips.

"Clearin' my mind. What are you doin' hanging out your window?" Josh asked, now facing the brunet.

Carefully Tyler slid himself out of his window and onto his roof. Carefully, he jumped the short distance to get to the other rooftop, his balance resembling the fawn from the disney movie.

Josh chuckled at the small boy wearing cream colored frilly ankle socks, and a matching dress. Cream and peach colored flowers settled into a perfect flower crown.

"Wanted to see you." Tyler blushed, laying down next to josh and peering into the sky, glancing at josh every now and then.

"Aren't you a cute thing." Joshua smirked.

"Stop, you're gonna make me blush." Tyler whined, smiling at the older boy, and hiding his face in his hands.

"You're cute when you blush." He said, his arm hesitantly moving to pull Tyler closer to his body. Emitting a deep sigh, when the brunet shyly moved to lay on his chest.

"I'm glad you're having a good day today jishwa. You don't deserve to be sad, or mad all the time." Tyler whispered before letting out a yawn, cuddling closer to the older boys chest.

Unedited.
a little glimpse into joshua's world, this won't be the last time you see bits of his life though. now i know gerard's past with certain things but do not worry, in this book it will not get out of hand. i promise.

i'm not a mean person, and i love gee a lot, if i were to encourage his old behavior even into a fictional book, i would hate myself because that was such a sad time in his life, and i'm super glad he got help like he promised frankie he would. so trust me.
