"Do you ever shut up?" I mumbled to Alexandria, writing down the answer to the chemistry question. She was talking about some movie she watched back when she was with her boyfriend. He broke up with her today and she came in furious, kicking my chair and book bag. Now that she wasn't turning into a demon she was complaining about some stupid movie. Apparently she had to pay for her own ticket and everything.

The word annoyed wasn't even going to explain how I felt. This girl never shut up, and she knew she was annoying me, so she talked more and more. Going to glare at her she had her head against the table, hearing fske sobs I just scoffed. I wasn't going to say sorry; she'd have to deal with that. For the past few months I've been completely unhappy, due to my mother's death.

Six months ago my mother passed away, no one knows how or why. The police claimed that it was a suicide, but I just know that it wasn't. One day my next door neighbor came over while I was at school, when she opened the door she found mother hung from our ceiling. At first I thought that she killed my mother but after questioning her millions of times I knew that it wasn't her. Since then I haven't laughed, barely even smiled, my father died when I was eleven. Which is why I am currently living with my neighbor, until the battle for custody ends between family members.

My phone buzzed with a text message from my aunt, frowning my mood hit rock bottom. She got custody of me for another six months. Six months of living with her until I'm eighteen, she was the worst aunt there is. Feeling a paper ball hit my head I looked up and glared at Alexandria.

"Dude focus, I don't want to get a bad grade on this." Rolling my eyes at her statement I held back a rude remark.  The thing about Alexandria is that she was pretty stupid, so me looking at my phone wouldn't effect her grade. Turning in my paper I helped her with her answers because she was confused. When the bell rang for the day to end I got up and drove home.

Opening the door my eyes landed on my mother's house, I hadn't stepped in it since she died. The bills were being paid by everyone chipping in. I told every one that they weren't allowed to go through her stuff until I said so. They respected my wishes. So her stuff was just sitting there. Pushing past my grief I sighed and walked in on my neighbor holding my suit case.

"Your aunt called, you're moving there, pack your bags you're moving tomorrow." What? No, this isn't what I want.

"I'm not going, I'm graduating in three months, I can't go." Saying only this I walked to my small room and slammed the door.

That night I decided that I definitely could not leave town, not until I knew what happened to my mother. Packing my bags I thought about my car but decided against it, someone could track me with it. The next morning I took a shower and grabbed all of my money, which was about five thousand from saving up when I had my job and left. Just as I thought I was in the clear I heard my name being called, sprinting down my road I turned the nearest corner.

"Ow, what the hell-" slamming into someone my hands immediately went to steady the person's small body frame. Seeing Alexandria my hands let go of her waist, she quickly steadied herself. Going to keep running she stopped me, literally stopped me. Such small arms had strength behind them.

"I'm sorry, but I have to go, I'll see you in-" she quickly cut me off.

"What are those bags for? Are you running away? What about-" hearing my name get called I looked around. Going to push past her she shoved me into a dumpster beside us, landing on my back she jumped in next to me and closed the lid. The smell was disgusting.

"I know what you're doing, let me help figure out what happened to your mother too. My dad's a cop that was on that case, your mother was ruled a suicide. But you kept on telling them that there was no way that it was possible, let me come with you." Taken by surprise that she knew I glared at her as I sat up.

"No." I stated, she punched me in the arm, causing me to fall down onto the trash again.

"Fine then. You have ten seconds to agree or else I'll call out our little hiding spot." At first I though that she was kidding until she started counting down.

"Okay, okay! Just be quiet" I shouted in a whispered, she gave me a smug smile and opened the dumpster lid. Crawling out we smelled just like the trash, she grabbed my hand and drug me down some streets. Arriving at a one story house she let me go inside, getting pushed into a room she threw a towel at me.

"Take a shower, you stink" she commented holding her nose before closing the door, looking at the shower I sighed.

Taking off my clothes I took a shower, using the girly shampoo and body wash. Once I finished showering I changed into a new pair of clothing, Alexandria was walking in a towel. She grabbed my clothing and left the hallway for a second, once she came back she explained to me that she threw them in the wash. Hearing footsteps coming our way my body was suddenly shoved inside a closet, Alexandria covered my mouth. She keeps on shoving me all over the place.

I could smell her shampoo with how close she was standing near me. Even in the darkness I knew she took a shower, my heart raced as I wondered why we were hiding. After a few minutes she took her hand off my mouth, breathing properly again she went to go open the door when a few broom sticks fell down and crashed into something metal. The door flew open and I saw a half bald, tall muscular man I definitely remembered from my mother's case. If this was her father then she wasn't joking.

"What the hell is going on here?" Her father shouted pointing a gun at me, I could see a vein popping out from his forehead. "I'll ask one more time, what is going on here?"

[A/N] Believe it or not, this is actually my first story, and let me tell you something, it was terrible. Three years ago I never would have guessed that I'd be here, but yet here I am. It's honestly one I've had trouble remaking but now that I wrote this chapter I feel much better. Anyways, tell me what you think. Bye! Oh---also---I have no clues when this will be updated, it's hard for me to write this but I'll definitely try. I still have my three other stories. Bye for real this time!
