Blood Diamonds: Chapter 2

~Travie P.O.V.~

~After School~

I walked out of 3rd with a sense of relief. Another day down, one day closer to summer vacation. I watched as the empty halls filled with kids eager to shove their books and notebooks in their lockers and head home. I never walked through all that because that was a gateway to getting elbowed, I never even used my locker anyways. I just had my binder and headed out towards the parking lot.

My boy Dontario had my back as I had his. We were each other's wingmen and nothing came between us, especially no female. I saw him standing talking with two honeys I often saw him with. These 2 were females he jumped back and forth between when he didn't pick up a female from school or a club. Here's the catch, these two didn't know he would go back and forth between em, which is why I always found it funny when they talked to him.

"Aye man" I laughed as I walked up and dapped him "Aye Ladies" I smirked at them. They were pretty fine, one of em had dark rich skin, brown eyes and black hair that looked like it may have been a weave while the other was not as dark but had blonde hair wrapped up in a bun with brown eyes too. I see why he couldn't just keep one as a rebound.

"I'll talk to y'all later" He said before giving them each a side hug. They said their good bye's and were off doing their own things. "What's good?" He asked as he leaned up against his range rover.

"Was about to get it in with Yvette but we heard someone walkin by and it was cut short." I laughed slightly as I put my binder on the hood of his car and put my hands in the pockets of my trues.

"Yvette? Her? I've been trying to hook up with her since last year. She wouldn't give in worth a shit." Dontario was tanned skinned like me and tatted up but he had dark blue eyes and that's what females fell in love with. At least that's what Sonya tells me, and he was a major sweet talker like me. His hair was kept short at all times and never once was it ever out of line, he was focused on his style. Always swagged out for every occasion.

"She was mad teasing with me. Finally got her alone and then it was over just as quick as it started. So Imma try to see her later on tonight." I looked around, keeping my guard up just in case cause you never know with niggas at this school. Shootings happened so often, we were all basically waiting for the next one.

I saw Charnae walking with Sonya, I could tell Sonya was really giving Charnae an earful cause of how fast I saw her lips move. I actually felt bad for Charnae cause Sonya will talk till her voice gives out and if that happens, she'll write out what she still had left to say. Back to Charnae, she looked amazing as she walked and the breeze pushed her hair behind her shoulders exposing her caramel skin and face.

"YooHoo, Travie?" Dontario said as he snapped his fingers against my ears, tapping my earring. "Who you mad staring at? I see that smirk you got." He laughed as he tried to follow my eyes but I shifted my gaze quickly.

"Nothin D. Was just lost in thought of Yvette" I lied. I didn't want him to think I was feeling some sort of way to a female. I honestly wasn't cause I don't even know her, but her looks were just killer.

"Oh shit, you needa get with that. She got you tied, hit it and quit it. I see Sonya walkin up-"

"Leave Sonya alone. I already told you she ain't one to hit it and quit it. You wanna get with her? You treat her like the queen she needa be treated like, not like no random hoe." Dontario wanted to hook up with Sonya the day he first met her back a few months ago. Sonya transferred here at the beginning of the year and I've kept her close to me. Niggas know she's part of my family which is why they keep their distance.
