Blood Diamonds: Chapter 21

~Joel P.O.V.~

I just wanted to test my boundaries with her. I was incredibly surprised that she didn't pull back or push me away right off the bat.

This wasn't a passionate kiss or anything just a simple but enjoyable one. I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her up against my chest. This was all new for both of us. We'd never seen each other as anything more than good friends, I personally loved this better than just good friends.

She wrapped her arms a little hesitantly around my neck like as if I wouldn't have been okay with that.

I pulled away and looked right down into her eyes.

"I'm sorry-"

"Don't be sorry Joel." She smiled with bright pink blushing cheeks.

"How far would you have let me go?"

"I'm honestly not even sure how far." She said a little bashfully.

"It's all good but do you think there would ever be an us?"

"Yes."

"That's always good to hear. I'm not asking you to be mine since you just ended it with Travie." That wouldn't be fair to her. She just got out of a relationship, I'm not about to bring her into another.

"Thank you."

"Wanna skip tomorrow?"

"Why?"

"'Cause school's boring." I said with a small laugh. As I've learned, skipping school isn't all that bad... Dad for example. He turned out fine and barely went so missing one day wouldn't kill me or Charnae.

"Alright fine. What are we gonna do?"

"I got a lil' somethin' in mind just trust me." She nodded her head and I caught her quickly drop her eyes to my lips before returning to my eyes again.

We rested our heads against each other with our lips just millimeters apart. I gently kissed her again and the feeling I was overcome with, was a feeling I can't explain. I was still shirtless so I could feel her nails glide against my upper back and part of the back of my neck.

I left her lips and went right to her neck. I loved this whole "testing my boundaries". I'm just waiting for her to say the word for me to stop but by the looks of it she seems comfortable with what I'm testing.

"Joel." She moaned softly into my ear. I guess I found one of her sweet spots. I chuckled a little against her neck before I went back to her lips. I licked her bottom lip and what really shocked me, was she opened up without any kind of hesitations.

I rolled onto my back with her now laying right on my chest. She pulled away and sat up so she was straddling me. I was confused for a second but my eyes widened just a little bit when I saw her slip off the wife beater.

"Another tattoo I see." I said as I looked at it. It was a pink bow with long ribbons that hung along her ribs. The bow was right below her right breast, from my point of view.

"I told you I had some." She came right back down to my lips and continued where we left off. My hands had complete free range along her soft skin. What really killed me was when she let her hands roam along my chest and down to my abs.

Things were getting too hot but I loved it all too much to want to stop. My intentions aren't to fuck with her but if things escalate to that point and she's up for it, we'd have to see about that.

I could feel that lust start to creep up on me. This wasn't the time but the way she's slowly grinding on me is driving me insane. We were both a little more aggressive with our kiss. Was this how we both really wanted each other? Like our inner feelings coming out?
