Blood Diamonds: Chapter 6

~Travie P.O.V.~

~A Few Days Later~

Fuck School.

I hated it with such a burning passion. What made it worse was Yvette. Her ass was so annoying. She's the living example of ad-dick-ted.

"So what are you doing tonight?" Jennifer asked as she shifted her gaze from her paper.

"Its Friday so I needa get turnt up." Actually I was looking more along the lines of taking Charnae out on a proper date so to speak. She's been chilling at my house and her company is really nice. When she's around she makes me lose the wilder side of me. She gives off these vibes that make me just want to settle down and check myself over. "What about y'all?"

"Just going to lay low" Jennifer smiled back. Imani had her headphones in and was focused on the reading so she didn't hear me. I looked over at Yvette and she looked irritated.

"What's your problem Yvette?" I asked trying to get her involved with Jennifer and I.

"You. That's what my problem is." She spat at me coldly.

"Why? I haven't done shit to you." That's when it clicked. She thought I had feelings for her that night we fucked. "Meet me outside so we can talk." I said as I got up. "Mr.B I'm goin for a walk. I need one." I didn't wait for an answer I just walked out.

The halls were empty like usual so I just started to walk a little ways till I heard Yvette's familiar heels on the slick hallway floor. I stopped and leaned my back up against the lockers.

"Alright what's your real problem Yvette?"

"You basically lead me on, got with me, and then dropped me. Travie I've had feelings for you since the day I met you. I thought you had feelings back for me too." She wouldn't look me in the eyes but I could see tears starting to well in her eyes.

"I've liked you only as a friend. Nothing more, you know I only look for a good time with a honey then move on. I'm not looking for relationships."

"What about that girl, Charnae? I see how you look at her when she walks by or how you smile back at her-"

"Charnae is different. Stay out of my business. I want no drama with you." Yvette is well known for drama. So why would I want to get with her? Cause she was fine as fuck.

"Whatever Travie." She tossed her hair over her shoulder and continued walking down the hall towards the bathrooms.

I continued to walk the opposite directions and none other than Charnae popped out of her class.

"Aye girl" I smiled as I pulled her in for a hug. She instinctually wrapped her arms around me with a smile.

"Hey Travie. What are you doing out here?" She let me go but I grabber her hands. We intertwined our fingers and stared into each others eyes.

"Just chilling, what are you doin?" She brought that fuzzy feeling to my heart just at the sight of her.

"Just stepped out to get some air." She smiled up at me. Since that night when shit went down, she seems to have gotten better even though its only been a few days. I personally think she's using a mask to cover how she really feels. Once again her walls were up and I was blocked out, that's the one thing I hated about her.

"Wanna take a walk around campus then since we both out on a walk?" She nodded her head and dropped her hands from mine before we started to walk out of the halls. "So how are you holding up since the whole ordeal?"
