Blood Diamonds: Chapter 10

~Travie P.O.V.~

I snapped out of my imaginative state when I realized I wasn't kissing Charnae.

I pushed Yvette back and quickly stood up trying to shake off the feel if Yvette.

"Yvette what the fuck is wrong with you?!" I yelled at her. Yeah I'm at fault too, I should have pushed her off but I hadn't had a kiss from Charnae in a few weeks so I was thirsty for some lips but not Yvette's.

"You enjoyed it just as much so don't even start. You were bound to cheat on Charnae anyways." She rolled her eyes with a scoff of satisfaction. Bound to happen? Fuck her.

"Fuck you Yvette. You're sick in the head to toy with a guy in a relationship-"

"And its fine for you to fuck around with girls who are in relationships? What makes it different?" She asked with more anger in her voice.

"When a guy does it, that's game. When a female does it, that's a hoe-"

"That's a double standard dumbass!"

"Then learn it! I'm finally trynna settle down and cool my ways but you come by fuckin my shit up. I just wanted to be friends but you're over here trynna get dick. Get with Dontario if you need to, leave me alone." I fixed my jacket before heading back to the hall to get back to class.

~The Next Day~

"Good Morning Charnae" I said as I wrapped my arms around her. We were laying in bed and this was once again an attempt to try to comfort her.

"Morning." She said as she unwrapped my arms from her. Why the fuck do I even try anymore?

"So do you wanna do anything in particular today?" This whole 'no affection' thing is bothering the hell out of me. I'm fine without sex, that ain't a problem but I need affection. I want a hug, a kiss, and I wanna feel Charnae's hands grab onto me while we make out.

"I'm not feeling so great." She said as she continued to lay with her back to me.

"Charnae I know this is tough on you but you're pushing me away when I'm trying to help." When I imagined myself settling in a relationship, this wasn't what I had in mind.

~Charnae P.O.V.~

I simply got out of bed, grabbed my phone and headed down the stairs to get to the bathroom.

I unlocked my phone quickly and decided to text my brother.

8:23 a.m. Me: Marquez?

8:24 a.m. Marquez: Yes?

8:25 a.m. Me: Where are you?

8:27 a.m. Marquez: My apartment, why?

8:28 a.m. Me: Can you come get me? I want to hang out with you for the day. :/

8:29 a.m. Marquez: I'll be there in 20

8:30 a.m. Me: Thank You.

I locked my phone and sat on the ground with my back against the door. I felt destroyed and a waste of a human being. I just want to be alone for now but Travie is only pressing to get inside the barrier and right now I don't want him there. I don't like to be touched even though I understand he's only trying to help and I appreciate it but I just want time to get over this.

"I'm out. I'll be home later on. If you're leaving then be sure lock up the house." I over heard Travie say before I heard the door slam shut. I never intend to shut down Travie's affection but his touch reminds me of that night and it causes me to flinch and freak out.
