So for the past few weeks, in one of our Christmas music pieces in band, there's this oboe solo that's for 13 GODDAMN MEASURES.
And ours literally can't play it. We have one oboe player, and she can't do it.
So guess who gets to play 3/4ths of it for their concert tomorrow?
ME.
I'm actually super pumped, it's SO BEAUTIFUL...
When I play it.
She's only doing about four-five measures of it now, like the last part, but I have to start it off.
Goddammit.
It's literally just me & Cupcake (From XC, he also plays the bass guitar in band) for eight measures.
Shit.
I'm nervous to play it in front of people that's all. When our director gave me most of the part today and I played it, everyone was like "Wooowww, that's actually such a good solo!"
At first they thought it was trash when the flutes and oboe tried to play it, but I nailed it on the first try.
Yaayyy...
I've never had a solo like this in band before. I've had a couple measures in the past when everyone's playing, but this is either gonna be epic or a total dump.
Pray that I don't freak out and mess up.
Let's move on from that, just me trying not to be nervous.
So Skullshipping is Plumeria & Guzma. Today on Tumblr, I mostly see them labeled as Skullflowershipping. So I'm wondering if I should change the oneshot names to that instead because it's more known to have "flower" in it.
Either way, Guzma and Plumeria together is a nice ship. I'm super pumped to see how they interact in the game once I somehow proclaim Sun & Moon over winter break.
I've read a couple SUPER deep emotional oneshots on Tumblr for these two, and I think I have more of a good general idea of how they talk.
Btw, my alarm didn't go off today, so I woke up at 6:50 instead of 5:00 am.
I did the impossible...almost. I pretty much did my makeup in less than 15 minutes when it usually takes me an hour since I'm always jamming out to music & checking notifications during.
I had to skip my popping eyeshadow. Oh well. Kinda looked like trash today.
At least I got more sleep. I made a three in my game yesterday.
