.........NAOMI'S POV.....

......

''So you are going on a date with him....with the Devon himself......l''......Julia blurted out in excitement when i asked her to help me pick out a dress for .....i don't call it a date.....just outing.

''For the 100th time Julia is not a date .....is just two people trying to.....okay fine....date......going on a date'', i sighed, ''Did you find anything yet, and before i forget...don't do too much Julia''.

''If you mean too much as.... "don't tell anyone Julia"... I already did so.....i have not said a word yet but I already texted Nicole, Lisa and Ella'', she said innocently which even i had to laugh and not get angry.

After a few light make up which was just some gloss and letting my hair down, i looked at the dress on the bed. It was gorgeous but not for that kind of date I had in mind. I wanted to go to a mexican restaurant i have been meaning to check out because today was a good opportunity to do so. They always dance and twirl around in there and I've always been so curious. So I had a floral basic but sexy shirt dress in mind. Or a thirty revealing dress. I mean is a Mexican restaurant, they have the best upbeat tunes and I wanted to enjoy myself even if I won't like the company
''Eeerr.....Julia, i dont want the dress to be too formal....just a little bit of free bird but sexy parrot'', I tried explaining the scenery to her.

''Naomi, where are you going for this date?'', she asked bending her eyes, hands on waist. I ignored meeting her eyes. She flicked my ear off as an attempt to spill more details.

''Okay fine.... I want to try out that new mexican restaurant down south bay. And i might want to turn and twirl in there'', i said shamefully bending my face.

''You mean dancing Naomi, I know you are bad at it so I will take twirl and turn. Okay I think I know exactly the perfection that fits you goddess", we burst into laughter. "But you owe me a takeout, because that place was a me and you date but I will let Devin have it". I murmured fine and thirty minutes later, i had on the perfect dress. A little cleavage tease and some shoulder show. Falls right on my hip with a thigh slip off in the perfect shade of burgundy red. My hair was curled up and falling behind my neck and my face. I looked amazing. I just had to give myself that. Why was Julia not even a fashion designer instead of a doctor. She was so good at picking what fits anyone's shape and face. isn't in a fashion school.

Devon had been waiting outside for over thirty minutes and honestly, he deserved it. But i liked that he was okay with me picking where we go. He came out of his car when I came outside with Julia taking pictures through the window. He walked over to my side of the door and opened it. He really what's going to speak to me huh. I just stood there looking at him as he stared at me. Even with him trying to prove he was upset, he had a smile on at every corner of his lips and he just avoided eye contact with me.
''You know for an upset date partner the least you can do is just say what you've been biting your lips from uttering", I said calmly walking up towards him. I may not have known him enough yet, but I knew he couldn't take his eyes off me and I was going to use that to my advantage all night.

"You look beautiful...... and exotic", he murmured under his breath but still enough to my hearing. I nodded and got in. I forgot I was mad at him earlier. I was partly at fault so I didn't want the night to be ruined. I had high hopes for that place and I wasn't going to let Devon ruin it with his mood. He got in and checked if my seatbelt was on and went aged to fix his. He started the car and then turned to me, "Where are we going?".

He sounded cold. I didn't want that attitude following me up in there. I told him where and he drove off. We got there in about forty minutes. He had called ahead to make sure it was safe enough. He parked quickly and unbuckled his seatbelt to come out and open my door but I stopped him and pulled on his shirt which even I thought was childish.
