A song by myuu; don't die on me, is posted up. It was the song Naomi did for her late brother in the hospital.

***NAOMI'S POV * * * * *

What's the diagnosis? ", I asked Ella who was running after me to keep up the pace. Julia had checked on the injured girls right after we got in the hospital. Ella handed me a theatre suit and showed me in. Some doctors were already in since they skipped the seminar to work their shift off. They weren't in our field but they did what they could to help the little girl breathe. Oh God she was so fragile and innocent with all those machines on her.

"Ella, what's with the intensive life support?", that got me scared and reminded me of someone.

"She is having a hard time breathing on her own so the doctors signed for the help. They don't seem to know what actual problem is so they can't operate on her", Ella continued.

This was not happening right now,"Even if I could do something, I still do not have a real licence doctorate plate to go ahead with it", I took a chance.

"Of course you do Naomi, I have your name plate right here, even Julia's", She pulled out two name plates with the initials doctors followed by our names on it. I was happy but this was no time to rejoice,"Samantha had kept it from you two because she habours Lucifer in her body. Naomi, time is running out. The little girl's mother passed out in the lobby waiting to hear some good news. You were the only one I could call since you've. ..you know", She tried not to say it.

"Oh my God", that was traumatising. I can't just operate on this girl just because I had experienced her condition years ago through a special someone. It was dangerous and if I wasn't in the right state of mind, she could die too. Just then Julia walked in with a troubled face and a watery eyes which looked like she had been crying and washing her face at the same time.

"Naomi, what's her status?", She sniffed. I didn't wanna ask about her teary face when I was fighting back mine.

"She is in shock, like what happened to...Junior", I said slowly swallowing a big lump of nothing. I saw the terrified look on Julia's face.

"Do you wanna go through with this?", Julia asked almost shaking.

I turned my head sideways unsure of what to say,"I don't know Julia. I failed the first time, and....he...he just...died. I didn't even know where to start from but I panicked and messed up. I can't do that again".

Julia walked over to me and intertwined her fingers in mine with a troubled Ella staring at us,"Yes you failed, because you were young then and you thought you were doing the right thing by trying to save Junior. Your family and the doctors gave you a chance to try and save him but it was too late. It wasn't your fault. And even if it was Naomi, that was a long time ago because this time is different. Save this little girl like you gave Junior a second chance to life".

"Julia, I touch the wrong tissue and she dies. I can't go through that pain all over again", I challenged nervously.

"What if you touch the right tissue and she makes it?", Ella joined in,"Naomi, we watched you kill yourself for months trying to learn and delve more into this part of science, trying to understand what most powerful doctors couldn't. You know all about it now and is time to save a life with it. How about you give this girl wht you couldn't give Junior".

I stood there numb and confused lamenting on whether to go ahead or not. These were some of the times I needed my mom most. She knew the right things to say and do. I was scared yes, because the what ifs outweighed the maybes but I had to make a decision. If there was no doctor in this huge building willing to take the risk of saving this little girl, maybe I could ask the greater doctor up in heaven to take the risk instead of me,"Fine. But her parents has to sign the approval first if I have to do this".

"Her mother is here, and she looks so familiar I could swear she is Devon's mom", Ella beamed and then became silent when neither of us said a word,"Do you wanna talk to her yourself?". I nodded and she led the way to the private lobby where the mom and a few family members were waiting and pacing to and fro.

They all got up when we came in and like a customer in a good mood waiting for a fortune cookie, they were waiting for some good news.

"Is she awake?", who I guessed to be the mother asked worriedly.

"No ma'am, not yet. We don't really know for sure if she will", Ella elaborated calmly to the disturbed family.

"Do we have to fly her out of the country for a surgery doctor. We will do anything", she said hurriedly.

"Ma'am, calm down please. Look, her condition is rare, and its research takes years to pilf. Is a risk no doctor will willingly take even if he was offered a mansion. She is on life support at the moment, if we take it off, she could die within half an hour", Julia explained too.

"Is there a chance you could stil save her?', she asked worriedly with teary eyes as Julia and Ella turned to me to answer that.

I cleared my throat and smiled nervously, "Eermm...yeah, there is a way but it could also kill her. She is in that position because it could be she saw someone die or worse and since she is very young, the shock she felt frightened a very dense tissue not commonly visible to the eyes except an expert and frankly speaking, there is no expert", I saw how broken she sighed and God knows I couldn't look pass that,"But I can help", then the whole family turned sharply at me with hopeful eyes.

"What do I have to do?", she asked determinedly.

"You need to sign an approval letter that she has you and your family's permission to go ahead with the surgery", Ella explained.

"What are the risks again?", a middle aged man asked from behind.

"If the wrong tissue is touched, she could...die, within ten minutes", I said.

"But if the right tissue is touched, she could live", Julia added quickly.

"What are the chances that she could make it?", the mother asked.

"Forty percent chance ma'am", I answered calmly.
