Chapter Twenty Six

pagdating ko sa ST nagmamadali na ko. sa sobrang traffic kasi late na ko ng fifteen minutes.

pag akyat ko sa taas tumakbo agad ako papunta sa conference room.

"Sorry i'm late. i got stucked in the traffic." i apologized and i got suprised when someone answered. sitting on the end of the table facing its back on us.

"learn how to manage your time Mr.Gonzales. time is precious to be wasted on worthless things. there are things far more important to do than waiting for a late comer like you." she said sternly and turn her seat around. nalaglag yung panga ko nung nakita ko sya.

"Alexis!" i exclaimed.

"Close your mouth Steven. you look stupid." she said with a mocking smile. natawa yung board "sit down and lets get this meeting started."

tulala pa rin akong umupo. damn! i hate being suprised like that!

"well. Goodmorning Everyone." she said and look at everyone's faces. "i'm Alexis Sanvictores and that man is Steven Gonzales. and we will both handle your investment here at Steadlex Real Estate."

"Aren't you a bit young to manage this business?" nagdududang tanong ng isa. ngumiti lang sya saka inabutan sila ng folder.

"Yes. i'm just twenty three years old. i'm young. if you're having second thoughts about him handling this business with me. you can check my credentials and achievements. its all in that folder." she informed.

"i graduated Summa Cum Laude at Harvard in my course Architecture. took Architecture for two years only. the same year.i'm taking my masteral in Business Management. i'm a full scholar because i got a perfect score at my entrance exam in Harvard. i'm also a Member of Mensa International. i have a business in Italy. Lexecon, its a construction Company that was founded a year ago and we already had the capital back in just six months." She stated without blinking her eye.

"You're Great." humahangang sabi ng isa.

ngumiti sya ng matipid. "Thank you."

nagsalita na rin si Daddy saka si Tito Arthur. they formally presented us to the board and the employees. after the meeting dumiretso na sya sa office nya. sumunod agad ako.

"What the hell Alexis?!" i shouted.

"what the hell Alexis?!" Steven shouted when he entered my office.

"what the hell too Steven." i answered boredly and sat on the executive chair comfortably.

"what the hell are you doing here?!" he shouted again.

"You heard me. i'm managing this business with you." ngumiti ako sa kanya. "ahh. base on the look on your face you didn't know you'll be managing Steadlex with me."

"would i be this suprise if i knew i'll be handling this with you?" he answered sarcastically.

"if you happened to know how to use your common sense. maybe you found out. Steadlex. Steven Adrianne Alexander Alexis. see?" i gave him a mocking smile.

"Damn!" he hissed.

"anything else you want?" i asked in a bored tone.

"Just Damn it!" he shouted and went out. i chuckled softly. my first day in the office isnt so bad after all.

"Leche ka Andrei! Leche ka talaga!" inis na sabi ko habang kausap ko si Andrei sa phone.

"Bat ako? you never asked." natatawang sabi nya na ikinaulol ko lalo. nagawa nya pang tumawa habang ako halos masira yung ulo sa kalokohan nila.
