"Will you please tell me whats going on? before i go completely mad?" mariing sabi ko kay Adam saka sinamaan sya ng tingin. nakaupo kami ngayon. silang dalawa ni Steven sa harap ko tapos si Laz saka si Jace nasa dingding. nakasandal. napansin ko din na wala nang baril sa bewang si Jace. pati na din si Laz.

huminga si Adam ng malalim saka tinignan ako.  "You're staying with Steven for now. Tito knows about this. we cant afford to let you stay in the mansion. baka pati si Vincent mapahamak. we have securities around this building and in your mansion."

"who wants me dead?" i asked.

"we cant tell you. but we need you to listen for now." i gritted my teeth. i looked at them angrily.

"My life's at stake and you cant tell me?!" i hissed.

"we cant. now baby, please. dont go out without anyone of them." tinuro nya si Jace saka si Laz. "Its too dangerous."

"Dangerous huh? you want me to follow orders from you? and you wont tell me whos behind this?! i cant believe you." marahas ko sabi saka tumayo.

"We want you to trust us for now." mahinahong sabi ni Steven.

"Trust you? are you shitting me? how can i trust someone i barely know." i said coldly.

"Alexis Listen-"

"No Steven you listen to me. hindi kita kilala. i dont know whats going on in your head. you're a stranger to me. i thought youre just a simple Steven Gonzales who left me for another woman but your not. until you decided to tell me the truth. dont expect me to cooperate with you."

"Alexis we're not yet done talking." sabi ni Adam humarap ulit ako sa kanila.

"Oh yes we are done talking." mariing sabi ko. dumiretso na ko sa kwarto na pinagtulugan ko kanina. nilock ko yung pinto.

"The Fvck Man! how could you let it go this close?!" marahas na sabi ni Adam sakin.

"Pare. nasa moving vehicle. we check the vicinity every ten minutes. hindi talaga namin nakita yung kotseng yun." sagot ni Jace.

"Kahit pa! panu kung tinamaan si Alexis! Jace naman! para saan pa't napaiyak ko yung pinsan ko kung mamamatay lang din pala sya?! eh di sana pinakasal ko nalang sila noon!"

"Alam mong hindi natin pwedeng gawan ng paraan yan. wala na si J para sumalo nyan." seryosong sabi ni Laz.

"And you cant lock my cousin here, Steven." Seryosong sabi ni Adam.

"my priority now is to keep her safe." mariing sabi ko saka tinignan yung dalawa. "You tell the half to keep an eye on Valdez and you Jace and the rest of the gang. Keep Alexis safe. call Ken now."

kumilos naman yung dalawa agad.

napaupo ako saka napahilamos sa mukha ko. kung si Alexis ang target ni Valdez. ibig sabihin alam nyang direkta sakin ang luminary.

and she's gonna use Alexis to take all the evidences that we have. Fvck!

"call me if Ken arrived. i'll call the others. we need to secure everyone now." sabi ni Adam

pag alis ni Adam pumunta ako sa kwarto kung nasan si Alexis kaso nakalock.

kinuha ko yung spare key. pagbukas ko dun nakaupo lang sya sa kama.

"I cant tell you now, Baby. please try to understand." i whispered softly.

"just leave me alone, Steven. i dont wanna listen to your reasons. maaasar lang ako. pakipasok nalang yun gamit ko. i wanna rest." malamig na sabi nya.
