"Goodmorning Ma'am" bati sakin ni Laiza pagpasok ko kinabukasan sa office.

"Morning." I answered and smiled at her. nilapag ko yung coffee na binili ko para sa kanya. "cappuccino right?" nakangiting tanong ko.

"Yes Ma'am. salamat po." nakangiting sabi nya.

"You're welcome." i answered and went inside my office. only to be greeted by a box on the table. lumapit ako sa box saka binasa yung note na nakapatong don.

pagbukas ko ng box natawa ako.

its a freaking vibrator or what they call Dildos.

"Seriously?" natatawang sabi ko. i sat on my executive chair and wrote a note for Steven. i asked Laiza to deliver it to Steven's office.

surely that will make Steven's day. natawa nalang ako. sakin pa kasi makikipag asaran, ako pa?

binuksan ko yung macbook ko saka chineck yung email ko. meron galing sa Lexecon. asking me if they'll start the store renovation of SFH in Italy. i replied no. i'll handle the renovations and i'll start here in the philippines. i want to personally handle everything.

pagkareply ko sa emails. pumasok si Laiza sa office ko.

"Ma'am, shall i give you your schedule for today now?" tanong nya sakin ngumiti lang ako saka tumango.

"you'll be doing the interview for the whole morning. The HR already started the screening yesterday. at one pm you'll go on a site visit with your cousin Adam in Tagaytay. thats all you have for today."

"Alright Laiza. thank you." ngumiti lang sya saka lumabas na sa office ko. magsisite visit kasi kami. yung exclusive subdivision na balak itayo. pagkatapos dadaan ako sa relocation site ng mga informal settlers para makapagstart na ko sa proposal ko.

Lexecon will be occupying the whole twelve and thirteenth floor. Steadlex at fourteenth and fifteenth floor.

and i already posted the add about Lexecon Construction Hiring so i expect the applicants any minute now.

inayos ko yung damit ko saka sinabihan si Laiza na magpapasok na ng applicante. ngumiti ako sa unang applicant na pumasok.

"goodmorning Ma'am." nakangiting sabi nung lalaki.

"Goodmorning. please take your seat." umupo sya sa harap ko.

tinignan ko yung folder na nasa harap ko. "Your name is Paulo Torres. fresh grad."

"Yes Ma'am." he answered politely. i threw the details a glance and put the folder down.

"why do you think i should hire you?" i asked. straight to the point.

"well. you see. i'm born natural charmer. i can make millions for your account. i'm a good engineer too. i work part time for a construction company while i was studying. see that building at your back." lumingon ako sa tinuro nya. "i made the footing of that."

"well. impressive. you achieved so much in just a short span of time." i smiled at him. "i'll call you." ngumiti lang sya sakin saka nakipag kamay.

Steven Dear. thank you for your gift. well you see. toys are boring and they are for kids. i'm old and  i play with the real thing. but thanks anyway.

"Sir?" natatarantang sabi ng secretary ko. hindi na ko sumagot saka dirediretsong lumabas ng office ko. pagdating ko palang kasi sa office inabot na sakin ni Kaila yung letter na yan.
