I leave a piece of paper where I stop reading the bill and put my heels back on to make it downstairs for lunch. I feel butterflies fly around in my stomach as I make my way down the stairs. I make eye contact with those blue eyes again and smile.

"Ready?" Justin asks as he opens the door for me.

"Yep!" I reply happily as we get in the black tahoe.

A couple minutes into the ride, after Justin finishes answering an email, I decide to start a conversation, "So why are we in the tahoe? Why not just walk there? I know you love walking."

Justin turns towards me, "I can't have people wondering why I am out with a girl alone again."

I knit my eyebrows together, "Justin, you're allowed friends that are girls!"

Justin stays quiet for a moment taken aback by my answer, "I guess you're right." his voice was quiet in his reply.

"What's wrong?" I turn to him and take in his profile. The defined lines of his jaw, the slight indentions of cheekbones, the fullness of his bottom lip. I'd forgotten what merely his presence does to me.

Justin looks at me, "So, we're friends?"

I glance at the driver and back at Justin, "Uh, yeah."

"Okay, just wanted to clarify." Justin retorts and looks back down at his phone. It reminded me of a dog guiltily walking with its tail between its legs after doing something bad.

"Why are you acting so weird?" I blurt out in frustration. The driver glances through the mirror at me. "Eyes on the road, buddy." I nod towards the traffic filled street.

Justin looks at me, astonished, "I'm not acting weird!"

I raise my eyebrows, "Oh yes, the Mr. I-don't-use-my-phone-because-I'm-all-about-family, can't look up from his phone this entire ride."

"Eliza, I'm the Prime Minister, I have things to do on my phone. It's not like I'm busy scrolling through instagram!" Justin remains calm as he explains to me what's going on.

"Okay, I know that, but it's just..." I trail off, not wanting to finish the conversation. I was thinking of a topic we were both avoiding talking about.

"Just what?" Justin puts his phone down and looks over at me.

"You're just stressing me out!" I laugh it off, hoping I convinced him not to ask anymore questions.

"Okay, I'm sorry. I'll try to avoid my phone for the rest of lunch." Justin puts his phone in his pocket. "See there, all better."

I feel myself blush, Jesus christ I'm that annoying girl. "God, I'm sorry, I don't know what just happened. I just, I'm in a car...alone with you...we're going to lunch...it feels all too familiar."

Justin looks at my sympathetically, "Who says it isn't supposed to feel familiar?" Justin leans in a little closer.

"Justin, don't. We can-" Yes, we can. I think as I feel the intoxicating feeling of his lips on mine. I feel him tug on my lower lip, and I almost melt right there. But before I know it, I no longer feel his lips on mine and I open my eyes.

"I've been dying to do that all day." Justin confesses as I stand there, still feeling the after effects of the kiss.

"Um, yeah, me too." I reply, still caught off guard.

---

"Justin this is a nice restaurant. I'm not dressed nearly nice enough for it." I explain as he takes me into the fancy restaurant.

"Eliza, you're perfect. Besides, we won't be here long." Justin winks at me. I just need to tell you something over a drink and then I have another surprise.

I notice people looking at us, as they begin to recognize me from the papers. They put two and two together and begin taking pictures. "Justin, no drinks. We need to leave." I urge.

"Don't worry, I've got it covered." Justin grabs a huge binder from one of his guards. "We're going over a new bill at lunch."

"Can't argue with that cover up." I reply.

The two of us sit down and we both order waters, not wanting people to think their Prime Minister drinks on the job. Justin opens the blue, leather binder and acts like he is reading through it.

"Eliza, I have something to tell you." Justin states as I innocently sip my water, "But you can't loose it once you find out."

"Justin when have I ever freaked out?" I smirk.

"Uh, in the car about ten minutes ago." Justin smirks back and tries to hold back a laugh.

I purse my lips, "Okay, well you're not wrong."

"Anyway," he begins, "So I came back from our little get together the other night and guess who was waiting for me."

My stomach drops,"Sophie. Oh gosh, I knew that was a mistake. I told myself we couldn't ever hap-"

"Eliza." Justin commands, I can't help but feel a little turned on by his tone, "She said it was okay."

I almost spit the water out of my mouth, "WHAT?!" People look our direction and Justin blushes.

"Told you not to freak out." Justin chuckles.

"Sorry..." I say timidly.

"It took me a couple days to work it out, to decide if this is really what I wanted." Justin explains. "This is it. This is what I want."

In that instant, my world seems to fall into place. It was already in place, but now it just feels...complete. I felt complete before but, I just feel like there's more support. I feel, I can't explain it.

"I love you." Justin mouths as a couple reporters make their way over to us.

"Prime Minister, can you tell us what bill you're working on?" The reporter kindly asks, I sit there, my mouth still hanging open a little. It can finally happen.

"I'm sorry, but I have a meeting to catch. You'll find out soon enough." Justin stands up and puts cash on the table. I follow him while looking down, hoping the reporters hadn't connected me to the supposed affair.
