Don't Kill My Vibe - Sigrid

-  One Night Later -

We pause a moment to take the other one's face in. My fingers trace the outline of his square jaw before he grabs my hips and places me on his torso in one swift motion. As I look down on him, I take account for every muscle. Every muscle twitching and flexing as he breathes heavily. I watch his chest hitch as I remove my lips from his neck.

I hear a phone buzzing in the background. I give an exasperated sigh and roll off him, knowing it's probably something to do with Parliament.

"I'm sorry." Justin kisses my nose as he reaches for his phone. I watch him as he talks on the phone, all while getting swiftly dressed. "Yes, I'll be right there."

I pull my beige sheets up to my chest and rest on my hand, "The Liberal Party is calling you!" I tease.

"It's always calling me." Justin jokes as he adjusts his tie. "See you in the morning?"

"Yep! Love you." I smile as he reaches down to peck my lips.

"Love you, too." He swaggers out the door. Instantly, Justin grabs hold of the door frame, as if to stop himself, and turns around, "Oh, that reminds me, I have a surprise for you tomorrow. Well, a surprise for the entire cabinet really, but you will see."

When I hear my apartment door shut I fall back on the sheets. I bite my lip thinking about him. Whenever I think about Justin, butterflies form in my stomach and I feel myself blush. He makes me so happy and giddy-- like a little girl.

"Hey Telford!" I greet the slender blonde as I enter the office.

"Good morning, you're in a good mood!" Telford evaluates. In her hands she holds about 12 pounds of files.

"I am, I actually had a full eight hours of sleep last night for a change." I laugh and run my fingers through my hair. Oh, how I hate small talk.

"Hmm, I wonder why." Telford raises an eyebrow. I blush horribly. I didn't intend on that being an innuendo, but I guess it was.

I look around the room, avoiding her gaze in embarrassment, "Um, well, I should get to work. Parliament is in session-- which means I have lots of reading to do." I rush out her office. My next stop is the office at the end of the hall. I tap on the door and hear someone say to come in.

"Good morning!" Justin smiles widely. He doesn't get up from his desk, as it looks full of files, and at least two iPads-- wait, three.

My eyes widen, "Someone is busy today!"

"This is a light day when we're in session, you should see your office right now." Justin laughs and leans back in his leather chair.

"I'd rather not." I flirt. I sit in the chair across from the cumbersome wooden desk and cross my legs. "You said you had a surprise for me today?"

He glances down at his watch, "It's only 8:30!"

"And?" I shrug, "I have no patience when it comes to things like this."

Justin smirks, "Well, today you're going to have to learn it." His brunette waves that were originally combed back are falling slightly onto his forehead.

I attempt to give him my best "side-eye" glance, but it fails.

"I'll tell you at 10:00. Deal?" Justin sounds like he is talking to a five year old.

"Dude, there's no need to talk to me like I'm Hadrien." I roll my eyes.

Justin blushes, "Sorry, force of habit. Speaking of that...Ella-Grace and Hadrien only want you to babysit now. Sophie's thrilled." I take note of the sarcasm in the last sentence.
