SURPRISE! #PLSLOVEME

Who Am I - London Grammar--
I adjust my tights as we get out the black SUV at 4:00 in the morning. I looked over at Justin's car and see he's looking as perfect as ever in jeans and a Star Wars shirt. Only he would look this good at 4:00. I visibly roll my eyes and examine my running tights and Ivy Park hoodie.
"Ready for a flight?" Justin jogs over and asks me. I seriously consider just grunting his direction instead of making an effort to form words.
I close my eyes, "Maybe. Do I get to go back to sleep?" The oversized sleeve cover my balled up fist and I rub my eyes.
"Of course! I'll be up though." Justin shrugs as we climb up the stairs to the plane.
"Why? Why don't you love yourself?" I laugh as I plop down in one of the big leather chairs on the private plane.
Justin laughs, "I get up this early to wake up and do some yoga before the kids get up."
I just stare at him, wide-eyed, for a moment, "See this is why you're Prime Minister and I am not." I laugh. I bring up my legs to curl up in the fetal position. Justin leaves for a moment before coming back with a red blanket and throwing it on me. I find myself in a very comfortable position just as I realize I forgot to grab my headphones out of my carry on. "Heyyyy, Justinnn...."
His bright eyes turn my way as he gets off his computer. "Yeah?"
"There's a black backpack beside you, could you reach in the front pocket and grab the Beats case?" I smile widely, hoping that helps convince him. He lazily opens a pocket and I almost try to stop him from going into my tampons and pads, but I find myself too tired. I just try to see if it ramps up a reaction from him. It doesn't. Part of my wishes it did, though, it would be some entertainment. Eventually he finds the rose gold case that holds my beloved Beats that I got for Christmas. He tosses them my way. "Thank you!" I almost blow him a kiss, but in that moment about 10 other government officials board the plane and sit around Justin.
I slip the headphones on and turn on London Grammar's "Who am I" and try to fall asleep while the rest of the government works.

"Hey, Eliza?" I gentle voice brings me back from my light sleep.
I jerk my head to the left as a response to the voice and almost butt heads with Justin. "Hey!" I smile warmly.
"It's lunch time. Also, we wanted to hear your thoughts on some points we wanted to get across at the summit." Justin awaits my response as I curl out of the fetal position and stretch for a moment.
"Okay, but I'm really not qualified...."I mumble as I stand up and go on my tip toes to stretch my legs.
"You're fine. You have more experience with the law than I did starting this job, so let's do it!" Justin slings his arm around me for a moment before taking it away casually as we enter the area where a group of men and women in formal clothes bustle about, trying to get together things to discuss for the G20. Justin clears his throat, "Everyone, this is the closest thing we have to other world leaders right now, so let's test it out."
Everyone stares at me for a moment. They're either staring at my outfit, or they're staring at me because they recognize me from the news some months ago. "Okay, so right now our main points are: Efficient energy, climate change, and education-- specifically for girls around the world."
I nod, "Okay...I'm not going to lie, but that seems to be all Canada talks about at these things. Is there anything else you could add that y'all don't mention a lot?"
The colleagues all stare at each other, Justin runs his fingers through his hair, "What about refugees?"
I smile and nod, "Yes! Canada has done great things for refugees. You could address the still outstanding number of refugees and urge the other countries to do the same as Canada."
"We could also touch on how that immigration has aided our economy instead of hurt it." Justin piggy backs off me.
"Yeah!" I stand up and begin pacing, "Do you have statistics on what the economy would most likely look like without all the refugees in the system?"
I lock eyes with Justin and his eyes light up, we understand perfectly what the other one is saying, "Charles, can you get on that for me? I need a verified hypothetical look at what our economy would look like without the refugees and then, obviously, what it looks like with them."
I bite my lip and look at Justin for a moment before he comes in for a high five.
"And you said you didn't have any experience!" Justin laughs. I can't help but laugh. Here we are, Justin in his Star Wars shirt, and Me, in my hoodie, beating a bunch of suited men and women.
I shrug, "What can I say?" I wink at him before walking off to grab something from my bag. When I get back to the back area of the plane, I hear light footsteps behind me as I grab out a tampon.
"Elizabeth Norwell, where did that come from?" Justin asks. At first I assume he's talking about my tampon and raise my eyebrow. He clears his throat, "The immigration thing back there!"
I laugh, "Okay, phew, wow-- it's too early." I softly smile, "I don't know, I've read enough bills and watched enough House of Cards at this point!" I joke.
"No seriously, I've read your suggestions on bills. I know you're a natural, but I've never seen you in action before. It's amazing!" Justin compliments me.
I put the tampon in the hoodie pocket, "You weren't so bad yourself. We made a good team, you can't deny that."
Justin smirks, "I know, they're talking about how great you were in there."
"Without your idea on immigration that meeting would've been stagnant, so this is all on you!" I playfully hit his shoulder. "Also, how much longer do we have?"
"About 30 minutes actually, that's why we're gathering everything. You may want to get changed. We're going straight into the summit as we get there, so just be prepared." Justin gently touches the side of my hand before spinning around to go put on his suit.
---
I almost rip my heels off as we enter the hotel where multiple countries are staying. Justin looks over and almost starts laughing, he must notice my discomfort. I glare at him.
We get off at the 24th floor, "You weren't joking when you said 'get ready to be exhausted'." I exclaim.
"No, the first day of these summits are always the worst because you have to go straight into meetings and it's not all that great. What room are you in?" Justin asks as we begin walking in the same direction.
"Uh," I slip out my hotel room key. "245."
Justin winks, "246." We stare at each other for moment and then come to the same realization at the same time, "Telford." He says and I nods towards him.
"She's too good at what she does." I laugh. We get to our doors. "Night."
"Night, Eliza." Justin says as we enter our hotel rooms.

a/n: SKRRRTTTTTT! So now that I know I need to read and write this essay, I literally have so many ideas bubbling and I just have to write them or else I can't focus on my reading at all. So yeah, #LoveMyself. So completely ignore what I said earlier about "not updating until August 2nd" LOL I wrote that when my meds were still in my system so I was super focused but now like I'm ready to party so let's go.
