Dreams - Fleetwood Mac

--
I go through the the security gate after the Uber drops me off, and walk up to the front door, where I ring the doorbell. I hear a stampede of light footsteps and then a set of heels walk towards the door. The mahogany door opens and reveals Sophie Trudeau.

"Hi Sophie!" I say nervously. I knew it was going to be awkward. The two of them must have been very desperate if they needed me to come over, considering everything.

"Hi, please, come in." Sophie says with a sullen face. When I enter I take a moment to breath everything in. The smell of pine fills my nose. The beautifully traditional house fits the Trudeau family perfectly. The calming blues of the walls, the complimentary furniture - who am I kidding? It's gorgeous. "Everyone is eating in the kitchen." Sophie brings me out of my daze and I follow the sound of her satisfying feels against wood floor. When I enter the kitchen, Ella-Grace drops her fork and comes barreling towards me.

"ELIZA!" She wraps her arms around my small waist. I hug her back. "I've missed you!"

I squat down to meet her level, "I've missed you too! I'm excited we get to hang out tonight!" I smile, "But before we can hangout, can you finish your dinner for me?"

"Yes! Then can we watch Frozen?" Ella-Grace's eyes widen.

"Of course! I haven't seen it yet so you'll have to teach me all the words!" I ruffle her hair as she heads back to her seat.

When I stand back up I remember two things, 1) What I'm wearing. I slightly cropped top and running tights with sneakers. Sophie couldn't possibly hate me more, and 2) both of the Trudeaus were staring at me: one in admiration, the other in scolding. "Hi Justin." I wave nervously.

"Hi, Eliza. How have you been?" Justin asks politely smiling.

Before I can answer Sophie instructs me, "I was convinced by not only one, but two," Sophie glances at Justin, "Of my children that Ella-Grace and Xavier should get to stay up late tonight since you're hear. Hadrien will go down in about an hour and a half. If he starts to get grumpy before, just put him down early. He may be a little wound up so you way have to help him calm down once he's in bed."

I nod, "Yes ma'am!" I smile and nod.

"Um, do you have my phone number in case you need anything?" Sophie asks as they walk out the door.

"No ma'am." I respond awkwardly.

Her face becomes red with embarrassment and sadness for a moment, "Just get Justin to text you the number."

I nod and the door closes. I feel a little tug on my finger. I look down and see a curly headed blond reaching up for me. "Hey, Hadrien, how are you today?"

"Good!" He smiles, "Can we watch Frozen?"

That seems to be the general consensus in this house. I laugh mentally and shake my head. "Of course! I think Ella-Grace wanted to watch it too, let's go see what Xavier thinks!" As we walk back to the kitchen Hadrien lays his head in the crook of my neck and I melt. I could hold him forever.

"I finished my dinner Eliza!" Ella-Grace shows me her plate.

"Good job!" I give her a high five, "Xavier?"

Xavier is always the quiet one, but this time he hadn't even said a word to me. "Uh, I'm basically done."

"Okay, are you down with watching Frozen?" I ask as he puts his dishes in the sink.

He shrugs in his Star Wars t-shirt that was most definitely a gift from his dad. "Yeah, I don't feel too well. Can I go to bed early?"

I frown, "Yeah, bud, what's wrong?"
