HARRY
Two Months Later...
Harry had never felt more frustrated or confused in his life. Things had felt perfect when he had dropped off Louis at his flat the morning. He knew that Louis was acting a little stand offish, but he thought it was about Isabella being sick. Then, he turned cold before twenty-four hours later.
He knew that he should just move forward. Louis felt that their beautiful night was a mistake, so he should forget about him. But, he couldn't.
It had been two months since Louis ended whatever was growing between them. Harry couldn't get Louis out of his mind. He didn't want to.
He knew that he wasn't over it whenever he saw Louis walk into the building. His heart would pound and the palms of his hands would start to sweat. But, Harry didn't allow himself to approach him. He didn't want to accidentally make another mistake.
But this day, just a little over two months later, was different. Harry was greeting the children and parents as usual when Louis came in. He looked...funny, off. His eyes were wide, his skin was pale and sweaty. His tongue poked out of his mouth, wetting his chapped lips.
Louis stood in the corner of the room, arms crossed over his chest. Harry's heart pounded, like it always did when he was around Louis. He slowly approached him with a giddiness in his chest. Did he want Harry back?
"Harry, may I speak with you outside?" Louis asked, voice on edge.
"Sure, give me a moment," Harry answered. He looked over to Zayn and said, "I need to step outside. Can you handle this for a bit?"
"Of course," Zayn said, eyes alight. Zayn was happy that they were going to talk, finally. He knew that Harry was miserable.
Harry grabbed his coat and followed Louis outside. Once they were out, Harry wanted to grab him and hold him tightly. He knew that he couldn't. Louis just looked so nervous and almost sick. His skin was growing a green hue to it.
"Are you alright?" Harry asked, shoving his hands into his coat pocket.
"Uh, no... I know I said that I wanted to forget what happened between us..." Louis paused, looking everywhere but at Harry.
"But?" Harry pressed, a pressure at his chest. Was this Louis saying that he made a mistake with his decision?
"I'm... I'm sorry," Louis said, eyes overflowing with tears and dipping his head down as he started to cry.
"Hey, hey," Harry said, pulling Louis into his arms. "You have nothing to be sorry about, love. You don't have to cry."
"No, no... You don't understand," Louis said, his hands making fists into Harry's coat. He pushed back and looked Harry straight in the eye. "I'm pregnant."
"What?" Harry asked, softly. His heart soared in his chest. "Are you sure?"
"I... I went to the doctor yesterday and had it confirmed. Eight weeks and three days. Are you mad?" Louis asked, his voice almost inaudible.
"No... I'm shocked, but I can't be mad about this," Harry said. "Boy or girl?"
"Uh..." Louis said, biting his lip. "I don't know, I don't find out until week sixteen."
"Oh," Harry said. "I don't know much about pregnancy."
"It's alright," Louis nodded, trying to pull himself out of the the other man's arms. But, Harry wouldn't allow it. "Harry."
