Chapter 2

The next morning...

Dove's POV

Something happened with Ryan. Something's wrong. He won't tell me what though. "Babe." I say as he walks over to the other side of the room. We're still stuck in the hospital. "Yeah?" He asks. I already fed Ashton this morning so he's asleep. "Come here." I say. He walks over and sits on the end of the bed. "What happened?" I ask. "W-what?" Ryan asks. "What happened?" I ask again and sit up fully. "Chloe just rest please." He says. "I'm fine. Now tell me. Now." I say forcefully. "Um just family drama." Ryan says avoiding the subject. "Tell me." I say. "Chloe I don't want to stress you out." He says. "Well you not telling me is stressing me out more." I say and cross my arms. Now I've got him. "Fine...um well my dad hadn't heard anything from my mom in awhile..." he starts. I nod. "And then he um found something on Facebook of my mom and another guy but it's okay. I'm fine. Um let me go ask the doctors if you're free to go." Ryan says quickly.

Before I can say anything he walks out the door. I sigh and look at sleeping Ashton beside me. There's so much Ryan in him it's adorable. He flutters his big brown eyes open and looks at me wide eyed. "Hey baby." I whisper and pick him up. My stomach is still sore since the c-section. "One more day Chlo." Ryan says coming back in. "No." I whine and look down at Ashton who starts crying. "Shh. Come on guys." Ryan says and walks over. He sits beside me on the bed. "He's probably hungry." I say. "Are you gonna?" Ryan asks. "Yeah." I say. Ryan smiles and I feed Ashton and after I get myself situated again we get a surprise knock at the door.
