"I wonder when my Mother and Father will come to Tirani?" I asked.

"Most likely when my Mother can find a date for our Wedding" Wystan walked me through Kingdom.

It's been four days since we Arrived here and I'm loving Tirani the more I learn about it. Wystan and I spend the days touring me or Visiting my Dragons. Mira has taken it upon herself to help by reading books about the Adult Dragon.

"Azalea... are you afraid of anything?"

"Excuse me?"

"Sorry If I offend you, are you afraid of anything?"

I stared off into the blue sky then I sat down in the soft grass.

"I'm not as perfect as you think I am, my biggest fears are.... are..."

Wystan sat down and cradled me, "Go on. I just want to know so I can protect you from them."

"Tell me yours first" I whispered.

I looked up at his brown eyes they hardened with pain. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, "Water."

"Water?"

"You may not know this. Or everyone forgot but... I was born with a twin."

"A twin?" That was almost unheard of.

"A twin sister. I was born first, she came out right after me. Her name was Annalee. Like me she had black hair and brown eyes, everyone in the Kingdom said she was going to be so beautiful, a true woman of Tirani. Annalee and I were like you and Aisha. Inseparable. Where I went she went. When she had nightmares I brought her to my room to scare them away. I was her big brother, her hero. She always looked at me with admiration in her eyes. I loved her so much."

"W-what happened?" I asked whispering.

"It was such a hot day. There were dark clouds in the distance but we didn't think they'd reach us until the night. This was right after Mira was born. Annalee and I went swimming. We had so much fun. She was smiling the entire time, but... I lost track of time. The storm came in so fast. The waves grew and pushed us under the water. I tried to get to her but the tide separated us, I was at the beach and she was far in the water. I tried to get to her but the water kept pushing me back. I got stuck under the water and almost drowned. I passed out. When I awoke, I was being held in my Father's arms. He was so glad I was alright. "

He started to choke up and tears began to run down his face.

"I looked behind him. My mother was holding Annalee's body, her skin was always so tan but when I saw her it was pale. Mother was crying, crying out why? Why her? The more and more I looked at my sister the cold hard realization hit me. My sister was dead. She drowned. And it was all my fault! I suggested we go swimming, I lost track of the time and I didn't rescue her. Annalee thought of me as I hero and I failed to save her."

I sat on my knees and hugged him, with my hand I pushed his head into my chest and let him cry, I'm horrible, I made him tell this story because I didn't want to tell him my fear.

"I'm so sorry Wystan" I whispered and rubbed his head.

We stayed like than for a little while longer before he pulled back and wiped the tears away.

"Sorry I don't normally let people see me cry. It's embarrassing."

"... Wystan crying doesn't make you weak, it just means you've been strong for too long."

He stared at me before gently kissing my cheek, oh his lips. They were so soft and warm, it felt heavenly on my skin.

"I'm sorry for upsetting you Wystan" I sighed.

He wrapped his arms around me, "It's not your fault. I'm actually glad I told you, it brings me a kind of peace inside of me."

"Do you want to know my greatest fear?" I asked.

"If you want to tell me."

I looked over the meadow that we were sitting in then took a deep breath, "It's-"

"WYSTAN!! AZALEA!!"

I jumped at the sound of Mira's scream. She ran across the field at an amazing speed and reached us, "What is it?" he ordered.

She huffed, "Dragons... Drifa.... Changing..."

Wystan and I were on our feet in a minute, "She's changing?"

"Aisha, Vana and I... moved her and Edur to an abandoned house... come now!"

Mira led the way and I followed on her heels. We ran and ran until we got to a run down house in the middle of a forest, Aisha's face came into view.

"Hurry Azalea she's getting bigger!"

I ran right passed her and through the house to the backyard. Sure enough just as she said Drifa was lying in the grass. She had grown and a blue glow erupt from her body. Her wings flapped and flapped.

I sat on my knees and rested my hand under her chin, "You can do it my beautiful girl" I said encouraging her. She croaked at me and then moved away.

"I don't know what to do?" I panicked.

"I think she may be trying to fly Azalea" Mira said, "Pick her up and try throwing her into the air!"

"What if she falls?"

"Just try!"

"But-"

"NOW!!"

I picked Drifa up, "Sorry about this."

I threw in into the air as high as I could. And the most amazing thing happened.

The glowing light completely engulfed her. The light was so bright I turned my head away and shielded my eyes from it. Drifa let out a mighty roar and as I turned back to her her body grew bigger. Her wings spread opened revealing a full grown majestic Snow Dragon.
