"Do you remember your birth mother?" I asked Drifa.

No, we have no memory of her since we were in our egg, unhatched.

"Oh."

I laid against Drifa's back her, wing covered me like a blanket, her cold scales reminded me of Minallia. Of home.

I loved Tirani and I was going to live here forever but part of my part longed for the cold and snow of Minallia.

What was she like?

"Well I only met her that one time and only for a little while. But she looked like you. Her scales were duller but she had fire in her eyes until the very end."

Drifa laid her head down, Her scales were dull because she was dying. It happens to all the females of the Snow Dragon species.

I looked at her, "You mean not all female Dragons die when they birth?"

She shook her head, No mother. Only Snow Dragons. Why? I am not sure.

"That seems unfair."

She stopped talking after that, so we sat and watched the sunset on a hill away from any road or house.

"Have you found anything on Edur?" I dared to asked.

A low growl rumbled in her throat, No. I've been looking but I can't find my brother. I miss him.

"So do I Drifa."

She nudged my arm and rested her big head on my lap gently, Where did our names come from Mother? Do they mean anything?

"Yes. Drifa means Snow. Since you bother were Snow Dragons I gave you names to represent your heritage. Edur also means Snow."

She purred, I like my name. I'm glad I have it.

I suddenly laughed, "I actually thought about naming you Istas. Do you like Drifa better?"

Oh yes very much!

Again I laughed, "I better get back to the Castle. Wystan will be wondering where I am."

She cocked her head, When will you two become mates?

I smiled, "Very soon. Queen Mia has already started to plan and get my Dress ready."

Goodbye.

I kissed her, "Bye."

I walked away and down to a roadway. I enjoyed the walked to Drifa from the Kingdom.

I finally reached the Kingdom.

I heard hooves pound against the dirt and turned around to see King Drakan on a horse. He stopped in front of me and held out his hand, "Azalea please take my hand!"

"What's wrong?" I asked shocked by his sternness.

"Erdona is under attack! Take my hand and I'll get us to the Castle!"

Erdona under attack?

I grabbed his hand and he lifted me onto his horse. I put my hands around his waist. The horse ran at full speed. The wind blew at my hair. King Drakan's entire body was tense with stress, fear and panic radiated from him. This must be a bad attack. No one has ever attacked Erdona since Drakan and Mia became King and Queen.

The streets were empty with no sign of life in the entire Kingdom. Though there were many guard surrounding the Castle, Wystan ran out as King Drakan let me down, "Azalea!"

He ran and hugged me tightly.

"I'm sorry Wystan I just needed to go for a walk! What about my sister and Vana?!"

He grasped my shoulders, "We moved all the Princesses and a few maids to a safe room where they can all be safe for a few days. I'll bring you with them. Come now!"

He picked me up bridal style and ran though the Castle. "Who attacked us?"

"Invaders from the unknown country west of us. They attacked Minallia first!"

I gasped, "My home! Is everyone alright?"

"Your parents and brothers are alright. The invaders took the Kingdom but they escaped to Wessoga. The other Kingdoms are uniting to fight them off."

We finally got to the room. A guard opened it for us, All the Princesses and a few maids crouched on the floor together. Mira held Aisha tightly as she cried.

"Aisha!"

She look up and screamed, "Azalea!"

I held her tightly and ran my fingers though her hair gently, "I'm here. Shh don't cry anymore."

Alyn was sitting in Terris's lap look at us and ran to me holding Aisha and crying into my chest, I wrapped my arms around them both, "Aisha, Papalyn we need to be brave. For the Kingdom and for everyone here."

Aisha sniffed, "Our home is.. is..."

I held her tighter trying not to cry myself. I had to be strong. For Aisha, for Wystan, for everyone I had to be strong.

Vana crawled to Emise and Mallian who were being comforted by Mira and a maid.

"I'm sure we'll be alright" she murmured softly to them, her voice surprisingly steady.

I gave her a nod of approval. She had come a long ways from the scare and timid dirty girl that had appeared at my door. That had seemed so long ago. The same day I found my Dragons and met Wystan for the first time.

Terris stayed in the corner alone, "Princess Terris?" I asked quietly hoping she wouldn't be hostile, "Are you alright?"

She looked at me and I could see very dimly in her eyes friendliness. There was still a little Hostile but it didn't seem to be as bad as the first time we spoke.

Unfortunately Mira didn't help the situation.

"Azalea you don't have to call her that! Your a higher rank then she is! Terris what did she ever do to you? Why do you have to be so rude and horrible to your future Queen and sister-in-law?!"

The friendliness immediately left and rage replaced it, "You act too perfect! Like your the best in the world! I hate that! I hate that Wystan chose you and I hate that you'll be Erdona's next Queen!"

Hello Wattpad I'm back!

Christmas was beyond busy for me with work and traveling. Chapters may come slower now that exams are two and a half weeks away. I do only have one exam but two practical exams. The one exam is math and I need all my time into studying to pass it. My mom fell down the stairs and sprained her foot so I'll be taking care of her and the house while she's recovering. That's a summery in case your wondering why I'm being slow to update.

Enough about that now the chapter! The invasion is here! And Minallia is the first to fall. Terris is a little hard to like but there is a story behind her that will make you respect her. Unlike Brigitta. I had a character story and personality that I planned to make everyone hate her. I got rid of some of it since it took away from Azalea's story. I bet some of you are wondering where Edur is. He'll come back ;)
When?
Stay tune to find out!

Bye~
